As someone who has switched from another brand tool brand Makita i'm looking forward to the new compact SDS drill. I've got some feedback on the video. There are too many tools being demo'ed in this video, in many cases missing out key features. Like the Wheelbarrow - during the demo Mr Makita is seen operating it but is hunched over as he's not adjusted to operating controls which can be lifted up using the large adjusters on each side.
I’m a big makita fan and have a ton of there tools but it seems like makita are not inovating new tools and technology’s anymore. pretty unexciting stuff.might be time to move to a different platform
I am a die hard Makita user. But Makita is definitely lacking in the competitive market. Battery size, innovation etc. The seem like they have just given up and it is extremely depressing.
Agree they are more conservative than than milwaukee, but far from what you say. Look at their innovations on other channels. Buy some of the Japanese tools to see the innovation
@jcoul1sc all things that are mostly useless to me. I don't need a $4000 makita vacuum for my home. However I do need plumbing and electrical tools which makita invests nothing into. Milwaukee is focused on the trades, makita seems to be trying to dip into what nobody else cares about for the most part. Imo
I think many of us would like to know when the battery-powered framing nailer will be available in Europe, if you have any information?
Everyone is waiting for Makita new nailer shown in Las Vegas. From footage it will finally be a good one.

Makita needs to come up with a cordless belt sander and a better 18 gauge nailer
They have a xgt belt sander coming soon 👀
Das ist alles schon lange bekannt, also auch in 2023 ...

Yeah, a worn out makita is better than a new anything else.

A 12ah milwaukee battery suffers with dead cells and huge weight

@gauts801980 just buy the makita battery adaptor for milwaukee too, I have ryobi and Dyson, all work great on makita battery
@gauts801980 makita makes tools for most construction they just don't target plumbers and electricians.
