The Nucleus is a vital organelle within eukaryotic cells, containing most of the cell's genetic material (DNA). Key components: 1. Nuclear Membrane: Encloses the nucleus, separating its contents from the cytoplasm. 2. Nucleoplasm: Jelly-like substance inside the nucleus, housing DNA and proteins. 3. Chromatin: Thread-like structures comprising DNA and proteins. 4. Nucleolus: Small region within the nucleus where ribosomal RNA

It was discovered by Robert Hooke
Nucleus, its layers and the prominent function of it
In a cell, various *organelles* are in charge of specific functions. (Organelles - "Tiny organs")
The *Nucleus* is the organelle that "acts as a leader" in the cell.
The *Nucleus* is the *controlling unit* for every organelle; It governs the functions of the other organelles.
