So, by buying a bond, are we lending money to a company that couldn't get funding by a bank, for whatever reasons? Does that not mean we are taking on extra risk? Are the bonds as safe as the rating might indicate?

Nowadays govt RBI already provided direct bin market access to investors so anyone can invest in RBI through CD,Bonds and other debt markets so I thought and preference to get it through RBI itself. Just try with RBI direct and make your investment in debt market world.

This product sounds less like a bond and more like a crowdfunded CDO. Isn't oxyzo just packaging their loan book and selling/transferring the credit risk to retail investors? Also looks like we will be relying solely on the assumption that Wint and Rating Agencies will always work with the best interest of retail investors in mind. If only we learned something from the 2008 subprime crisis or the IL&FS fiasco . Need to be careful while promoting such products as investors can get misled by the term "Bond". This to me feels much much riskier than bonds with unattractive risk to reward ratio.
A+ rating for bonds is given at the time of issuance. But afterwards if the rating comes down within 2 years, if we have the mechanism to know or wintwealth will update investors about that?
Believe A+ is the rating of the firm (oxyzo). Don't think the bond itself has been rated/reviewed. Hard to believe rating agencies would have looked at individual loans that have gone into building this product and assessed credit quality of each of them. P.S: I could be wrong. Please correct me if so.
