Don’t know whether that’s allowed under technical regulations, but if there are no clear, big differences in how the race panned out, you’d say why not?
I wonder if the McLaren plan was to hold station after the first lap, build the buffer, then fight under papaya rules, almost 'forcing' Piastri to make the bold move there?
BIG congrats to Charles and the Ferrari for risking the one stop. For once they did a good strat. And sod the other races, Chares won the ones that count: home race and Monza.
Norris isn't the sort of driver who can close that points gap in 8 races. They know that so are rightly prioritising the constructors, where they get all the money.
@@Moray2023 He's 62 points behind now. Not saying they should have but there's 10 points easily that Mclaren could have helped him achieve at Hungary and Monza. So that would leave him 52 to get. Had they used Piastri to slow Verstappen down at Imola like Perez did to Lando it could be 7 more points leaving him 45 from Verstappen. Nothing is certain in F1 and the way that Max is being beaten by Mercedes, Ferrari and Mclaren means he is not destined to get 18 points each race let alone 25. Lando might not need to win every race to be close to beating him.
Everyone keeps saying the red bull has fallen back in terms of development but that's not what's happening! The car's just gone to pieces(figuratively). It's unstable, unresponsive, their pace has regressed! I think if it was the exact car they had at the start of the season, Max would be doing a lot better.
Oscar is closer to Norris in the standings than Norris is to Max. So to me, let them race. Should that change, that's when you start having a conversation about prioritizing Norris to beat Max.
Norris comes across as the spoilt school boy when he doesn’t get his own way. I’m sorry, but you wouldn’t see max or Lewis bend the knee for their teammates- and if they did get mugged I’d imagine they show the pace to fight back. Norris lacks killer instinct and is a spoilt brat.

Shame I missed the first half of the race. Glad I caught a Race Reaction stream. Thanks Sean
Max won this race last year @1:13:41 last year 1 min faster than this year.. why not go back to last years spec.
something fishy going on.

I can't shake the feeling McLaren are doing everything possible to lose the Drivers Championship.

Well they won’t win it anyway with Norris leading the charge. Toothless
Piastri proving he’s not a number 2 is badass. I’m very much looking forward to 2025
Hey mate any chance of podcast format with the move to PlanetF1?
I can get used to not seeing red bull up front and 4th among the big 4. Not even being shown on tv outside of hearing Max whine.
Was Colapinto good enough to have Marko on the phone to sign him to RB next season? 😏🤣
Ferrari pulled a blinder with strategy. Think Red Bull could finish 3rd in the constructors
Yes, let them race

Lando is not the driver Oscar is. He's to ambivalent can't make the hard calls.
There's zero reason not to put Bearman in the Haas for next race
