Personally, I prefer Al haitham on 4 pce Gilded while another support runs 4 pce Deepwood. But I think if Al haitham is the only dendro unit in your party 4pce Deepwood is ok on him. I've also seen a ton of people running 2pce EM 2pce Deepwood on him and doing similar damage in comparison to 4 pce gilded, but overall I'd say 4pce Gilded is his best in slot set when running double dendro comps.

In spread team just some upgrades u can use instructor 4p on kuki with r5 sapwood blade then she can give 240em to alhaitham just by existing

Obviously that if r5, the umbrella is good mostly for one target. u alr get much em from Nahida and spread wants crits, as well.

Yes. So long as u can balance your crit stats. Foliar will be much stronger than R5 Black sword
