Fun fact:
1 Tablespoon of soil has more organisms in it than there are people on earth.

I'm gonna be driving for a couple of hours now, blast me with comments so I have something to read when I get home :)
edit: I shot a new version of this time lapse, same setup except this time I used a yellow watermelon, and the seed sprouted! Check it out once you finished with this one

Ok
ok
What kind of lens and camera do you use?
What made you want to do time lapse photography?
Put an egg in acrylic and see what happens.other channels have done it but not with time lapse
It went from a watermelon into a pizza slice into a moldy bread, all while looking like it was boiling on a frying pan. I'm not sure what I was expecting but definitely not that. :D
These videos give you answer when you don't know what to expect 😃😃
It did look like it was boiling
Cant have a better description than yours XD
Couldn’t have said it better
This watermelon is not ripe. try a ripe watermelon with black mature seeds.
It's interesting to see that after 33 days in soil, fruits get the ability to go back and forth in time. Wow
lmao
When I'm just sitting there molding with decay.....yaced htiw gnidlom ereht gnittis tsuj m'I nehW.....
🤣🤣🤣🤣
There goes that number 33
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ How about no?
Can we all appreciate this person waits 1 year just to make videos that deserve more recognition???
Bot alert
@@grados3060 What?
@@COVID-19_Crab Bots make those kinda comments
I'm impressed they were able to stare at the watermelon and hold the camera so steady for that long
lol
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING
It's all in the shoulders!
No 🎩 📷 👨 deserves a raise
It’s a camera stand
I'd love to see the same thing with a seeded watermelon to see if the seeds sprout or if they start decomposing
wasn't this seeded? Or do the white seeds not grow?
@@PotatoMC1 The white "seeds" are a result of being bred to be seedless and are incapable of growing. Fun fact: the way they get seedless watermelons is by breeding together watermelons that have different numbers of chromosomes!
@@adriennecloeter7394 And what pronouns do such watermelons prefer? Seriously though, thanks for the interesting info!
@@nickh5081 thank you for the sophisticated and extremely original comedy you provided in this comment
True i really want to see a plant grow in one of these vids!
This one was really cool. Loved the "in soil" idea, with not as much air getting to it as quickly. I was secretly hoping, like a child, the seeds would sprout a plant. 😉
I saw a comment that said watermelons with white seeds are actually ‘seedless’ variety so the seeds can’t sprout
@@nillawafabutblack5604 Mature watermelon seeds are black.
i would like to see ants in with it lol or ants and a cracker inside
I was hoping it would visibly nourish the soil
@@2GoatsInATrenchCoat it did though. We saw the micro soil organisms feed and thrive off it.
The most mind blowing thing about TH-cam. Is the ideas people have to upload and spend their time on.
Your videos are quality! Nature is amazing. I also love the music you use 😊
You're videos demonstrate the resiliency of life. The watermelon, even as it decomposes, provides nutrients and water so that new life can grow and thrive. It is weirdly beautiful.
I thought the same. It's like its life and cell structure collapses back to soil for new complex life to emerge, to bring earth in order again as life.
It's the ciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiircle of liiiiiiiiiiife! And it moves us aaaalll...
@@SometimesDrawings I can never not feel enraptured by that song.

It would be nice to see a comparison between 2 different room temperatures (in example ~10⁰ C fridge vs ~20⁰ C room)
Absolutely awesome! I think I've watched all your content so far. Keep it coming! 😊
The commitment and editing is amazing! This channel deserves way more subs. Seeing things decompose is oddly satisfying. It would be interesting to see a time lapse of an ant farm.
great idea! unique i love it.
Thank you!
I never skip a photo owl video , awesome!
I never stop being amazed by nature… I was hoping to see the watermelon seeds grow… thank you for this great timelapse.
I love the soundtrack that you have for your videos each one is a purpose in its own it's great. It puts drama to a normally mundane unseen event.
It's so scary and beautiful at the same time when you see how time effect and change every thing.
i have been waiting for a video like this for YEARS thank u this is a spectacular piece of media!!
Really love your videos thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication!
How many projects do you have going on at one time? & how do you manage the smells? This one wouldnt be bad since it's in soil. But what about the others that are in open air?
He doesnt shower.
probs keeps it all in a separate building like a greenhouse
With the mold, I’m sure the projects would need to be in a separate room.
It look like poop 💩💩
So cool! I was particularly interested in the watermelon decomposing in soil!
Yeah to be honest the other parts were a bit so so.
Yes, the watermelon decomposing in soil was the only part I liked. The rest of the video was rubbish
Thanks for taking the time to do this. 👍
I love watching these kinda videos
Usually I really don't like watching things decompose, but watching it happen in soil was much more interesting (and less gross than usual for me). Also watching it reverse after it gets to the end is satisfying
Your mom
@@MM-hh cool thx for ur valuable input
@@NessaOfDorthonion No probs!
@@MM-hh lol
Thank you for all the work you put into making these ☺️
Dude thanks for everything, all that you rock thanks man really thanks
KEEP GOING MAN! It's incredible!
You have the most beautiful and wholesome content on TH-cam.
You capture the (our) interconnectedness...showing how flawless it all really is.
This is a channel that only exists to show us stuff rotting and you call it beautiful content. The irony about this is that you're 100% correct! 😂
I wonder how long it would take for the seeds to break through the surface again.
@Isabella B Yeah this is definitely a seedless watermelon but it would be super cool to see this with one that did have fertile seeds!
@Isabella B Thanks. It seemed strange to me that none of them were even beginning to sprout whatsoever.
@@XmarkedSpot Actually, if the seeds were mature, we could have expected to see some sprouting, as they usually sprout within 14 days.
@Isabella B watermelon seeds do not need to be black to sprout. color of the seed depends on the variety. i have seeds from at least half a dozen heirloom watermelons varieties and many have white seeds.
@@orangemoonglows2692 most seedless watermelons have white seeds in them
this one is honestly so beautiful 🥺🥺
Love your videos!
I am so proud of your progress on this channel and cannot wait for the future. Keep it up the talent shows.
It would interest me a lot to see "the same" watermelon slice in live soil!
would that make it grow after it decomposes?
what is live soil?
@@rayvven6646 live soil is soil that is live
@@brandonmikek2729 makes sense I guess
@@StereoJoseph no. The fertility of the seeds is what does that. Live soil just poses more risk to viable seeds as it opens them up to pests
Edit: it's actually better to germinate seeds in a sterile soil free from fertilizer of any kind
Would love to see what happened after day 34 and beyond. Also, I wonder if being exposed to light and up against the glass made a difference. It is so interesting how little things have such huge impacts. Kinda like reducing waste.
Every single one of these videos is surreal. This one was strangely beautiful. Thought provoking.
All the little organisms crawling around simultaneously freak me out and fascinate me 😂
The miracle of compost is just amazing thank you so much for this video! 🤩
I still fail to understand how much time, work and dedication videos like this take. Applause.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. It's very cool.
This is so mesmerizing to watch. It’s full of dedication on your part. Thanks again!
I really like the time laps idea of things that we don't see in our daily life but happens, and the dedication put forth to make these videos.😀
WOW!😊 That was quite interesting. Thank you!
Wow! That was mesmerizing, relaxing and disturbing! I really enjoyed it coming back to life! 😁🙏🏻👍🏻
Love how quickly it goes from pink to brown. such a wonderful way of decomposition
Your videos are really amazing. They took a lot of time to film, but the result really worth the wait.
Btw, may i ask how many project do you usually film simultaneously?
A billion, I bet
You may not ask!!!
magic
Thanks for making these videos
Fascinating. Thank you for doing this work.
Special thanks to the cameraman for using the speed force to record this time lapse video as fast as possible.
I'm curious, can you do a timelapse of the seeds of a watermelon slice in soil? I wonder if they'll grow.
Uhhh you forgot how watermelons grow?
yes i agree that will be amazing to see ^^
This is gmo watermelon. Seeds won't grow. Majority of your fruit bought in stores is gmo. At least in the US.
Fascinating, thank you😊
Beautiful, amazing, thanks.
This was really cool! I am very curious how the process would have gone in a microbiome of different insects and decomposers!
We all came here expecting a tree to grow
This is absolutely beautiful
Love this 💚💛🧡❤️💜💙
I needed a video like this to show my students at 4th Grade, in a public school here in Brazil, to a class about microorganisms. Being under soil helped to show them the action of microbes without insects. thank you so much
caramba, que legal!
I love these videos
The last thing I see before I sleep, amazing video 🍉!
