    great video. I also install cabinets, and other contractors always make fun of me because of how much stuff I set up on the job site. But once I am set up, they bug me all day asking if they can borrow a drill bit, some glue, masking tape or some caulking.

    Nice post. Always good to compare notes. Picked up a few ommissions and handy additions to my own jobsite kit. In my old age, I've moved virtually everything to TSTAK system, due to both smaller volume (lighter carry weights) and lower price. I've been happily surprised how much of my weaponry can be made to fit, although doing so has required some micro-engineering of the interiors and also care in stacking order on dollies. (Main complaint: Too bad the system doesn't offer taller drawer units.)

    Checkout the Fastcap miter saw wings they have a great setup for the dewalt stand you have, it breaks down easy and is pretty accurate once dialed in. Love the videos. thanks

    Nice video. I basically have everything you just went thru in my install kit. I actually keep all of my m18 stuff in the shop and take my m12 tools to the job site because they r smaller and easier to carry. I actually got one of those swing cases for the truck bed to keep “job site only” tools in like my baseboard pry bar.

    Was that a pink Charles McMurray invoice on that Rev-a-shelf box? Good job keeping the shop tidy. My wife commented to me how clean it was. I said he’s new to this shop. 😂

    Great video! Do u think the 12” miter saw offers anymore than the 10”? Been thinking pretty hard about getting one.

    I had a nice Makita 12” Compound Saw with wings their Vacuum the entire set up? Saw weighed just shy of 80 pounds? I sold it and took the Festool K-Pex plunge! Stand w/ wings from the Tool-Nut ! I was seriously sick at what I paid however ; I paid cash from my jobs !
    It weighs 56/pounds ! It is completely dead on thee most intuitive saw I ever had everything right there ! I hv had it 8-10 months and put miles on it already , dropped it once ! It is absolutely a great solid professional miter saw !
    Say 4 your flat crown smallish kitchen crown dead on! And I found “ infinity tools “makes a great blade for trim and cost less!
    I hv basically your same set up ! I run a Stabilia Laser ( green line 330 I think). And a Bosh tri pod for it works great!
    Look at the Stabila level for door I think it was made but it extends out to like 40” and down to 18”? I use that level like cheap labor! Great video brother!

    • @NE_woodworks
      @NE_woodworks  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks man. If I was installing more I’d probably go the Kapex route too. Will definitely check out the stabila too

    • @zephyr1408
      @zephyr1408 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@NE_woodworks it’s the Stabila type 80T extends from 24”-40”. Almost perfect !
      I really don’t install much? Probably way less than you? But it’s so quick to cut all my base , feet, crown, and super portable !
      I use to do all that on a table saw with a miter gauge ! Cause I did not trust that my miter saw was that accurate !
      It’s def a cost ! But I know I will never loose money on it !
      Ok Thk u very much for the video ! Oh ? The level I think was $40 and well worth it !
