I know it's tangential, but my grandmother started falling down the stairs, and I caught her, but she weighed more than me and we ended up being stuck on the stairs. I was holding her up, knowing that if I let her go she would have fallen down. She had her life alert type thing around her neck, and we were able to use it to get EMT support to the house. I'm actually really glad such things exist.
