Thank you for your feedback! For me quilting is a slow art. When wwe rush we cannot really let the ideas flow. It should be our therapy. I hope it will help you to relax and enjoy the process... .❤❤❤
Hi there. I am a big fan of Janome. This one is a Janome M7. All the feet I am using in my videos are standard Janome feet that came with the machine ❤❤❤
Hi there! Planning your way is a key to an effective quilting. I mean effective in terms of time and the final look. It is also important when you quilt a learger quilt. There is it really essential to move from quilted side to the unquilted and always to the outside. And I agree, the texture is great❤❤❤
I’m going to do these designs on a really large block, but break it down to a smaller block framed. The fabric is a print, so it’s a good learning opportunity that will show mostly as texture. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I quilted the hearts and the paisley on a 13” print block. Double border 1 1/4” to frame. Design is lost in the print BUT the back is stunning!!!! Very easy, and the multidirection of the paisleys and the hearts are beautiful. I am so happy with the results. Now, on to the side triangles; the quilt is sewn on point. I’ll send a pic when all done.
Yey!!!! It sounds like it was a sucess!! I am so happy to hear it. And if the back looks great, the front will show super texture in the right light. It is like magic, sometimes. PLease send the photos when you are done ❤❤❤@@marveldonovan5425
How different we quilters are , I love leaves and do really well, i struggle with circles they all seem to have points or look a little square. I might not fill in as much around my leaves Primrose
We all have our preferences. And it makes it so great as we can compare the notes on the resons and learn from eachother. I am pretty sure, there is no "I can do it all" quilter. However, I learned a lot from the patterns that give me the most trouble..... funny that way. ❤❤❤
Beautiful as always. I am so glad you did the hearts. I had no idea how to do them and now I have some reference point to start. Thank you!
Wonderful to hear that. I also learned from YT so I know how it is. Have fun and let me know how it went! ❤❤❤

Ok. This makes so much sense to me. I actually can “plan” where I would go next, pretending I’m sewing with you. Love the texture!!
