My husband & I live just 62 miles from Elkhart. We have been there any times. We've been to some factory tours, we love going to their RV shows ( other than during pandemic times), on the grounds at the RV Museum.❤️😊❤️
Cool tour of Lippert! Thanks for bringing us along. So excited for you, Wil and Jen. Happy for your new home and seeing y’all developing your new business. Bless Matt’s heart. ❤️ Jane from SC
Nice idea Vlog on Lippert. Nice they bought out Furrion. Nice video showing the Lippert plant. Nice seeing chassis’s built. Looks good! Love the bloopers and loved abs thought it was cute when Matt was calling you Mommy and Daddy. You are all soo funny! Hope you all had a great holiday! See you soon! Safe travels .
For the record, a standard rod and angle cross member (what we call RAXM) is stronger than the stamped cross members in the chassis…..so the “cheap wire ones” are in reality…..well better! 😂
Lippert builds the chassis to the RV mfg’s specifications. Herein the problem lies! Does Lippert inform the manufacturer of possible weak points in their chassis designs? This input would solve a ton of reliability problems with frame designs! RV manufacturers have a ton of quality control issues currently, the crap coming off the assembly lines is pathetic. It all starts from mfg’s utilizing undersized steel products in frame designs and suspension brackets. Quality all starts with the frame and attachment points! I believe most people would pay more for products that are designed with quality in mind. Additionally the axles attached to frames are mostly undersized with weak attachment points. The RV and frame manufacturers must address these prevalent problems so the customers don’t get stuck with cracks and broken frame issues.
We are wannabes and while shopping we observed a common shortfall / problem. Many heavy rigs "designed" for full time use have insufficient cargo capacity. IMHO, all of that starts at the frame and suspension. During early stages of manufacture, it would be easy to add upgrades that would boost the cargo capacity. Make the following standard equipment on big rigs: 8K axles, suspension hangar stiffeners (installed by LCI on Brookstone RV owned by JD of BigTruckBigRV), and higher load range tires. All can be done later, but would be far more cost effective as a chassis comes off the assembly line at LCI. Thank you.
That’s definitely good feedback for the manufacturers! I imagine if the manufacturers wanted this, that Lippert would make it happen. Of course that would cause prices to go up on those RVs, so customers would have to be willing to pay more for those features.
@@WilandJen IMHO the hanger stiffeners should be on every chassis. We've watched a few videos with suspension failures (EDIT - broken welds at non-stiffened hangers) that might have been prevented with the welded in suspension stiffeners. Also, we've watched several folks upgrade to 8K axles / independent suspension / disc brakes. The "full package" was real pricey and would be that way as OEM equipment. Just changing from 7K axles to 8K axles (without the disc brakes / IS) surely can't be a high cost change. THX again for considering this suggestion. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Safe travels especially in your new rig.
Hi Wil and Jen,..Great video. I have a new product for the RV industry that has never been done. Having an impossible time contacting Lippert. Would you have any suggestions as to how to get a reply from them besides the usual phone numbers and email I have tried Thanks, Mark
Have y'all considered going through one of the tech certification classes since you are RV owners? That would be interesting to vlog about and a cool addition of knowledge to the streams beyond the salesmen tech base. Magic Matt is a lot cooler and funnier than Magic Mike 😉.
Jen and Will congratulations on the fifth wheel and the channel. Matt, you need to grow up and loose your compulsive need to be the center of attention. If I were an executive at Lippert I would question whether or not money spent on sponsoring you was money well spent. Unfortunately your behavior reflects on Will and Jen as well.
So the whole video with Matt showing you four 5th wheels and you deciding which one to choose was a complete lie? How can we trust you’re being honest in your future videos?
It wasn’t a complete lie. We have the videos out of sync based on when the 5th wheel came in. We did the shopping and then ordered based on what we saw at the lot.

That’s awesome! They have everything you could ever want with RVs there lol
We appreciate your content!!! We watch on TV app, so we mostly just like. Keep it up! So cool to see your chassis.
Matt was being a heck of a goofball. Cool tour.
Oh my gosh! Matt! I can't stop laughing! 😆
Cool tour of Lippert! Thanks for bringing us along. So excited for you, Wil and Jen. Happy for your new home and seeing y’all developing your new business. Bless Matt’s heart. ❤️ Jane from SC
Thanks so much!
Thanks for bringing us along. Edit Matt out next time. Lol
He’ll always work his way in 😂
LOL Control Alt Delete LOL
So much Matt ham going on. 😂 Great videos guys. Keep up the great work!
Matt is what some of us Texans call a “camera ham”😀😀
I think Matt enjoys when you two do all the camera and video work so he can just be the short silly guy in the background
You are 100% right LOL

Another informative and well put together video! So exciting for you to see the frame of your 5th wheel
Fun video, shared it to Lippert Scouts: The Community on Facebook
Thanks so much for sharing!
If your RV review gig falls through Matt could become a professional Photo Bomber!
For real 😂
Danks i heard that will is doing better now. Thats great news
Awesome. I live in the Elkhart area (Granger, IN). My brother actually works for Furrion in that building.
I really enjoy seeing how things are made and every step that goes into making things. More of these types of videos would be appreciated.
Thank you for the feedback!
This is so COOL to me because I am a 5 month new employee. I love this company 😀 thank you for the insight.
Matt cracks me up. 😂😂😂
Matt's goofy faces popping in and out. Too funny
He’s always making us laugh lol
Congratulations on your new 5er. Those tours look very interesting. Nice to see how there made. Merry Christmas and see you in Tampa 🎅
Thank you! Can’t wait to see you there!
Nice, I would love to get a job there.

Omg !!!! So damn funny ….. thanks
Nice job
Thank you!
I hope they are using American steel 😉
Hopefully, I don’t know though lol

Hmm that’s a cool idea actually! We would love to do that in the future
Thanks for the tour of Lippert. So nice when I have called there to order. Matt, you are a mess
That’s good to hear! He is a mess 😂
You didn't ask the cooperate lawyers about all of the lawsuits .
VERY INTERESTING but, all I could think of was: Did Jen lighten her hair? And, how many photo bombs will Matt do? ROFLOL
What are the expectations of Matt growing up, he's just a big kid, isn't he?
We don’t have any hopes of that! 😂
Not one mention of all the frames breaking . I do know its not all your fault but not one mention.
Travel trailer frames to thin...Put out junk frames.... Don't stand behind the
frame.....
