Hoarders or collectors? Those dresses seem very well cared for considering their longevity. The styles speak to style conscious owners. They are gorgeous and Laci Fay is the perfect model, replete with flattering accessories. A couple of things l remember from that period are crinolines, and dusters (or smocks) worn over a pretty dress while doing housework or cooking/baking.
You look great in all of the dresses. My favorites are the 1940s ones. I appreciate this video especially knowing all the effort and time you put into making it ❤
i would love to have lived in an era when people wore such beautiful clothes (apart from the war part, that is) rather than slobbing about in jeans and t-shirts like a lot of people do today. Such a fantastic collection!

In the early to mid sixties I wore the Jonathan Logan lines of clothes that was my to go to close at that time I don't even know what Jonathan Logan is selling designer they sell design I know that they were the bomb at one time
I was born in 1948.....so I grew up in the 50's & 60's. The turquoise striped dress looks familiar. We love watching shows & movies that take place in the late 20's, 30's, 40's . The clothes were gorgeous & so classy. Everyone wore hats. I love hats ! I remember dressing up for Sunday School & wearing dress gloves. It's just how things were done then! My dad had a wonderful long, dress coat & he wore a nice hat. Oh, those were the days.

How fun was this?!!! I'm partial to 40s and 50s style but all the dresses were amazing. Did have a couple of favorites, however, the plaid dress for fall and the 1940s Frances Dexter. Laci, you have brought ladyship back in style, I was beginning to think it was a lost art. Since I am vintage, will be 64 this month, I so appreciate your passion for such stylish era's. Don't ever lose that passion it, makes you unique.
Just reading about the Mode O' Day shops. The first one started where I live, and 700 more sprung up around the country, most being franchises. So these shops gave many women a business career or a job in retail. Plus they were well-made clothes with style. The factory was in Utah. You look fantastic in all of the dresses. It is like they were made for you! Well done.
My mother owned a Mode O Day store on my home town in Oregon when I was young. It would have been in the late 70s - early 80s. Fun to see clothes from the brand's earlier years!
The blue dress at about 11.19min is absolutely amazing, especially with the black details, well done !! I liked most of them, but that one is just over all the others! Well, maybe the dress is simple, but the way you wear it and accessorized it, it's just 10/10 !

Oh those floaty sleeves are amazing! They are what I wanted the flow of my 1930’s blouse I made to be, but modern rayon does not move like vintage. I love all the looks!!

It's amazing to me the difference in color from the close-up views and the view across the room. Half the time I can't really tell the color until you come close, and some things looked entirely blue when they were green, grey when they were blue, etc. What a haul! That lady must have been your exact size, so much of it fits you perfectly.

There was one in the town where I grew up too. We always bought my Grandma a "house dress" for her birthday or Mother's Day from Mode O' Day!
