Max's 351 Cleveland final run in my XB Falcon Coupe.

- The final cruise in my 1973 XB Falcon Coupe with the 351 Cleveland engine still in. The poor ole girl has finally done its dash and needs to come out. The new Blown 400 Cleveland with NOS is ready so the time has finally come!

Not gonna lie I would have enjoyed the video more if I could have just to listen to the sound of the car cruising along instead of the background music you had playing the whole time...
yeah ... tried but when I opened the exhaust gates the engine just about fell out on the road ...its that broken! hahaha

Love this car, it's amazing, one of the most beautiful coupes i had ever seen, overall amazing to look at. In my opinion XA and XB Coupes or sedans, don't need those types of wing spoiler in the back of them, Tremendous car regardless.
Thanks man .... yep .. definitely my favourite shape! Yeah I was in two minds about the wing too... the B's originally didn't have them but Moffat added it. He's had a little bit of experience with coupe handling ...hahaha
The two-door falcon is simply the most beautiful looking car never made.
ohhh I sooo agree !!!! ... burnt into our minds as kids watching Bathurst I reckon too.
@@octanefixonline I have wondered whether the two are connected. Whether they look so good simply because they raced of Bathurst, but I don’t think so because the A9X is a good looking car, but not in the same league.
@@hisheroship Yeah mate I get you there. The A9x being shorter just doesnt look as sleek I reckon
@@octanefixonline True, and I don’t think it has the nice curves either. It is much squarer. However, the drop tank at the back looks awesome.

Like the play on the GS stripe. Cross between XA & XB. Satin looks awesome over gloss.Would like to have heard the sound of the mighty 351 rumble not the music.
thanks man ... just wanted to do something a little different. YEP .. was my plan to have the grumbly 351 in there, but when I open the exhaust gates it bloody near fell out on the road shaking and banging. Its that broken! Pretty sure crank is in two bits! haha .. had to quieten it down quick smart and get home!
@@octanefixonline Hopefully we will get to hear that sweet noise soon. My mate had to rebuild his engine in his XB Fairmont Hardtop after a snapped crank.

@@octanefixonline Bloody oath mate. But it was a cast crank. He has got a billet one now. Yes he "Gives it the Bejesus". RIP John "Roop" Millichamp for that line. But it broke when he took off slowly from lights with wife in car. So lucky he wasn't "Kicking it in the Guts" (thx Goose) when it happened. He kept the short bit of crank for a paperweight.

Yeah, that was plan too. But when I opened the exhaust gates the engine bloody near shook itself out and fell on the ground! Its that rooted!

Yeah I love stock too, but I drive my cars! I didnt build it for anyone else's liking, I built it to GO HARD, brake and corner HARD! and Stock just don't do that! If it was stock ... it would be a ditch by now! hahaha
