Thank you for your video. After watching it, I now have confidence to replace the lock mechanism on the liftgate of my Hylander

Thank you for showing us where to disconnect the panels, I did it today and it was easy just the sound of the clips made it sound worst!!

Thanks, I have the exact same dent in my 4Runner and need to remove the panel. I am hoping the panel comes off in a similar fashion. I might spend some time hammering out the dent with some autobody tools I own as well.

Careful taking off the large lower inside door panel. I put a nice crack in mine. Boo!

If you remove the back, are the license plate screws visible? I have a screw where the head broke off and I want to unscrew from inside the trunk with a wrench?

My lift gate panel is vibrating when I crank the music, needed to see how to take it off and try to add cushioning to absorb the vibration.

Hi. Didnt get a good look at the subwoofer.. Is the surface made from paper or something else like polymer? Thanks

Hey Ted. I agree the light makes it hard to see the speaker. If memory serves, it is some kind of polymer.

Agreed, something else, because it is definitely not paper, treated paper, kevlar, or aluminum. Otherwise I don't know the exact material. And some type of polymer seems to be on the right track.

Be careful with the stupid plastic clips from the first step, there rattling inside the gate now.

I popped the top part off and the white clips have fallen in the holes . Now looking on eBay for more clips

What size would you say that speaker is?

    • @SyntagmaStation
      @SyntagmaStation  8 ปีที่แล้ว

Not sure pal. I'd say 6 inches

8 inches { 200mm }, if it is the factory Toyota/JBL bass unit. (At least it is on a 2008 w/JBL system)

I do appreciate making the video. I really do.
But how hard would it have been NOT to skip half the steps and, instead of showing panels already removed, actually capture at least some of the removal process? Tools used? Wouldn't it have been much more helpful?
    Thank you.

Trying to keep it short. No tools required to remove panels. I verbally explain what you need to do, which is just pulling them off with your hands.

He said if you had of listened that no tools are required for removal
