Eddie will always be in my heart, because this is where i keep him and all of the rascals at.And Eddie can sang then and now he has a lovely wife and she can sing too.I wish them the best in the world/keep up the good work.Thank you for your legend that will keep on growing .from your longest fan in the world
I attended High School with Eddie..he was the NICEST guy you would ever want to meet. There was one locker between his and mine..and he was such a fun person to be around. Would love to see you again Eddie..its be soooo long...and hi to your brother Davy too...miss you guys!
it's so wonderful to see you again and listen to you..you still got it!!! always my favorite member of the RASCALS and a favorite band...love the angels song..I believe in angels..know they exist
Great tune! Sorry to say though, song co-rights aside, the true voice of the Rascals that drew me in back then as a kid loving them, and stays to this day is Felix's voice singing all their songs. Renditions are fine too, but the original sound of Felix's voice made the Rascals imo... that soulful thing!
Edward Franklin Joseph Brigati, Jr. He said, "Find peace within yourself and live in the general area of a good, progressive direction." I can never forget, Eddie. You were the light that guided me through many teenage and older years. I always looked for you in the men I met, yet none hardly came close. Thank you for sharing your life and your extraordinary voice with us. My thoughts are with you EVERY Oct. 22nd. Love you! judy P.S. I would STILL trade places with Susan!
yes they were ahead of their time..seen the felix cavaliere group in 1987,not the same..still love their music since it stands the test of time..i also loved their later hits hits "see" and "hold on"
I live down the road from eddie and he has large getogethers with band friends a couple of times a year , after the rock and roll hall of fame they sorta made up but still keep a distance after the falling out between family members
Last weekend I had the chance to see Felix's band, they were knockout! Felix's voice is amazing still, and he is the nicest big time muscian I've met! Even took the time to talk music after the show, however I didn't ask about his relationship with Eddie and the guys now! Anybody know?
"Where there is life and breath, there is hope." I do not agree that there can't be a reconciliation between Felix Cavaliere and the Brigati brothers. The possibility of reconciliation, even under the most bizarre circumstances, is an important part of most religious and spiritual traditions. Hey--if I can learn to get along with my #?!!%!! mother--which I have, lately--then anybody can learn to get along with anybody.
I will agree with that,Eddie is one of the all time greats and one of our legendary guys from the legendary bands, and he can dance his behind off, i don't know about now.But he is still our legend of all time. thank you
@tbstef Since we can't place links here, go to google and google why did The Rascals Break Up. In the listing, there's a blog wih an interview with Felix, where he gives his side of the story. The blog is named creative loafing & the interview is from August 5, 2009
Eddie was born Oct 1945 and he might be around early 60, he will always be a nice person, I know I will never gorget him. The young Rascals are forever in my heart. Thank you so much.
@tbstef Also google popmatters (dot com) & search for an article about The Rascals titled The Cost of Freedom from Nov. 21 2007. It explains a lot about how the politics of the band & those times, as well as bad business decisions & creative differences affected the band's fortunes & their relationships.
Actually it is not vocabulary that I was correcting, it was grammar. While you can argue that "knowing what was meant" is sufficient, I disagree. Proper communication in a complex society demands not only literary precision, but grammatical correctness. It is my responsibility to guide and direct misuses of the vernacular so as to avoid mediocrity whenever I see it. It is not so much snobbery as it is my social responsibility to guide the users of the English language to excellence. Thank you!
When is this going to be released for us to enjoy? It has obviously all been recorded and polished off! Listening to this we can hear the influence he had on the Rascals songs. I guess some might feel it was all Felix with a little help from others, but this refutes that myth. Eddie's voice is as beautiful and poignant as ever. 10/10
eddie lives a few blocks down the road from me , maybe i,ll knock on his door and see if he wants to jam! met him a few times in a rehearsal studio with joey d but joey d is a jerk and is concieded, joeys cool
@cagewarrior123 Your statement does not make sense. Are agreeing or disagreeing that Eddie now resembles Ernest Borgnine? Did you mean to say he does not look like Ernest? Also, you said "there totally two different people" Did you mean to say They're? "They're" is a contraction for the two words they & are. "There" would denote a location.
I love u Eddie
Nice to see he's still got it ❤

Bless you, Eddie and Susan. Young Rascals forever! He has the sweetest voice - a perfect complement to Felix.
"Thankyou "-that was BEAUTIFUL ,EDDIE ,Great to see & hear you .
it's so wonderful to see you again and listen to you..you still got it!!! always my favorite member of the RASCALS and a favorite band...love the angels song..I believe in angels..know they exist
Angels is an original composition by Eddie. Great to see Eddie and his wife Susan perform it together!! ;-)
Thank you Eddie. Beautiful song, great voice. Be well and happy..
Felix and Dino were the core, the most talented. Dino was a freeking Monster Drummer!!!!
The voice is still pure magic. Just close your eyes. Love ya Eddie.
Dino was a great rock drummer!
WOW! Drop the mic!
What a guy!
I used to go to their concerts in New York. I loved it when Dino twirled his sticks and tossed them into the air.
Eddie looks a lot happier here than the Rascals reunion at the R&R hall of fame 1997.

Great video!

P.S. I would STILL trade places with Susan!
Any budding drummer should look up Dino Danelli. MONSTERRRRR!!!!
Hope they will make this a recording & be avalailable to us all...You can hear the RASCAL ANGEL here,,...
The Rascals were great---when they were the Young Rascals, and now as the older Rascals.

Two angels right here... who've come to life... they are so giving and kind. I love you both Eddie & Susan!
reminder Eddie of the LaVarne Baker Tribute in Queens, tell him to visit site, not sure if he saw it. He can get a quicktime
copy on dvd if he wishes
You're killing me, be nice!
@RATSO147 AGREE!!!!!

And you would be wrong, luvtrax. Check out themaypang video of Eddie and Kate Taylor singing "How Can I Be Sure" this past June 2008.

@dojmike he does look like ernest one bit, there totally two different people
Eddie was born Oct 1945 and he might be around early 60, he will always be a nice person, I know I will never gorget him. The young Rascals are forever in my heart. Thank you so much.
He loooks a bit like Louie Andersen but I mean that sweetly
Where can I get this song? Did Eddie ever release it???

@RATSO147 How fortunate they are all still with us!!
Splitting the band in two is IDIOTIC.
It is amazing how people love to be ignorant; spoiled brats.
great to see Eddie however that is not Gene Cornish. Gene Cornish is a man!

@RATSO147 you got that right ratso rizzo! HOnestly though...Felix looks SO much better than the other cast members...
eddie lives a few blocks down the road from me , maybe i,ll knock on his door and see if he wants to jam! met him a few times in a rehearsal studio with joey d but joey d is a jerk and is concieded, joeys cool
Don't be a vocabulary snob! You know very well what was meant!
Brigati...forgeti
Not lip syncing but singing along with a pre-recorded version. Surely not the best we've heard from him.
As Eddie has aged, he has started to resemble Ernest Borgnine a little bit.

Sounds like Otis Campbell on a really bad night...or two crazed bulldogs in a sack...or...oh, well - you get the message.
sounds like crap
Eddie can't sing. Felix was the voice
Can't sing? Felix was great but this guy could sing
I agree. Eddie can't sing. He sang only one good song in the 1960s, "How can I be sure?". All other big hits were Felix's
What is this? Terrible!! Might as well recruit Joe Pesci in this band.
