We processed 6 of our Cornish cross meat boys yesterday and will use your brining method today. It will save time when a chicken is thawed to be cooked as well as money since more than one chicken is brined at the same time. Thank you so much for your instructional video!
You are wasting a lot of money in herbs, vinegar, etc. I can see the brine and buttermilk making the chicken more tender, but I can’t see the herbs doing anything but being wasted.
As usual….Great Job!! The brine and shrink wrap process we’re both new to me. I really like that shrink wrap process. I wonder how it compares with vacuum sealing?
We just hot a vacuum sealer we are gonna try it on some other things first but plan on trying it with the chickens. We shall see…. Eventually

Never saw that done before. My Mama just always processed one when she was gonna cook it. But things has changed since then. We had a freezer but that's just how she did things. Which that was over fifty years ago. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
Same with my grandma cooked it same day she butchered it.

I love your recipe for doing your chickens I wish I had a way to do them but living in a trailer park in an RV park yeah I can't do stuff like that but I bet they're awesome to eat enjoy the chickens I know those aren't yours but you have your own that you've done that away God bless y'all

Great job! There is another Farm that uses pig rings to clinch the shrink wrap bag instead of a tie.
