Bloody hell @leegrantham! This is one of your best videos so far (and there’s plenty to choose from). Really makes sense and really helps keep me going on sticking to the plan. And accepting and adapting if anything goes a bit wrong along the way. Thank you man - please keep this channel going. Insanely good stuff 🙌
Less is more & quality over quantity have been the mottos of my recent training plan. Race is this weekend and I'm shooting for my first 50k finish. This is the best I've ever felt going into a big race and I'm not burnt out on running. I'm actually excited for the race and not just ready for it to be over. Your videos over the last 5-6 months have been invaluable to me and I'll owe my finish to you and your advice.
If it was not the best video I have ever seen, it was one of the best ones, Super relevant and absolutely the best content thanks a lot for sharing your priceless experience
Good timing. I'm recovering from a knee injury right now, I haven't been able to run for a month. I think I did too much too fast when I got into running this year. Tough lesson to learn :(
I have a half marathon sunday, went too hard today and im feeling exhausted, I hate taking rest days but you just convinced me to take 2 this week now! Great timing of vid, thank you, hoping to PB sub 88 🤞
This advice is actually quite a contrast to some other coaches who would have you do intervals, tempo runs / hill runs/sprints/ and long run , all in one week. I am definitely favouring Lee's advice over the others, because of the risk of overtraining, especially at my age (44). So, thanks Lee!
I just started my journey with running and I relate to what you say. For now, my goal is to get my body used to running, I am discovering some muscles I had no idea about. So I prefer to run if possible every day for a short period to get used to it. Once I feel comfortable I will try to increase the volumes.
You talk from my hearth, I have the same problem. Yesterday I said to me exactly this - run to the point when it is pleasure yet, not more. (But it doesn't to run slow.)
David Roche is proving that you don’t have to run 100+ mile weeks in order to win big ultras. He has high quality in his training while running 60-80 miles a week
Hey man, all your thumbnails look the same, its great for creating consistency and recognizability, but I have not clicked on multiple vids because I thought I had already seen them, just based on the thumbnail, this may also be happening for other people. Great vid again tho!
Lee, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the best treadmill or treadmills for runners from a runner of your level. For when conditions outside don't make sense to run in.
@ definitely guilty of this, got myself into peak shape and then kept trying to grab more. Managed to win the masters mountain running champs which was great but then unable to compete in the other two A races through injury. 2025 will be a smarter year!
Well known information, but put in a very relatable perspective. This makes it click somehow. Thanks brother!

"Trust in the training process". 👍
Hey Lee! An insightful video! Here again with a bone injury. It takes time to understand and apply to yourself but won’t give up trying! Thanks!

Thank you, Tom. If you can stay away from injury, that's half the battle. 🤝
Agreed!

Hi Lee can I ask what's your opinion on MAF training? Have you tried it? How did it affect your performance? Thanks!
Good one! Appreciate the authentic passion and coaching.
Thank you, Matthew. I appreciate that!
