the "proof" is mainly yt CCs putting out polls about it usually( stix ran a poll a bit back as an example). ive seen polls on both yt and twitch livestreams. most people in those polls say they play on PC over mobile. these are sample sizes of a few thousand up to ten thousand people sometimes. ofc most people that answer these are most likely English speakers, so this doesnt speak a lot from other regions like china, or jp. whether you take that as proof is up to you
The vast majority of these numbers are guesswork. I don't know why people take these seriously. They not only don't count PC revenue, the revenue for Android is based of guesses and estimates, not real data. So not even the mobile data is accurate. Also, it doesn't even count the entire month initially, which is why it changes after release.

ZZZ is a dead genre. Why do you think HI3 and PGR never did well? ZZZ is just riding the Hoyo new game hype, but for how long will that last? An action game that only has square rooms and corridors gets boring af. ZZZ got railed in China at release with a lower score than Wuwa on Taptap. Wuwa got a lot of hate for abysmal performance, which is 100% salvageable, but people hated ZZZ for the game itself and there's no saving that. All the Hoyo players already went back to Genshin/HSR and even HI3. How far Failing Waves has tanked since its release is amazing. Someone may even think that its amazing first month was only because of all the hype as it was constantly compared to Genshin. And its player base is barely 1/10 of what it had in its first couple of weeks.

These number are so weird and im not even talking of Wuwa. Hsr and Zzz both lost money on global nd China while GI barely kept the same number? Seems very unlikly to me. If these number were accurate Hoyo would be loosing money. Specially in the Wuwa and Zzz case of ZZZ and Wuwa. Zzz global went from 19 to 10 so almost divide by 2 and china from 17 to 5.5 so almost divide by 3. Wuwa on china is pretty much the previous china revenue divided by 2(5.5/2~2.8) I know gacha revenu is not accurate but its like they're not even trying.

But whatever, the website doesn't even record revenue from androids on CN, so the revenue could be higher. I am one that wanted to r5 shorekeeper weapon until i find out it got restricted to only baizhi and shorekeeper. It would have been the most sought after weapon if it wasn't restricted. 28% attack buff on a weapon that can be used on all sub dps/healer especially verina. It would have been the best support weapon. Stringmaster is sought after due to its universal use for dps. The weapon was a mistake to be restricted. However, i got s2 shorekeeper that have 40% attack buff. It is broken and make TOA a walk in the park. Any dps will benefit from my all in one buff shorekeeper and make their damage viable to clear TOA with ease reducing my time spent frustrated by sec not getting 3 star. 😂

Specially in the Wuwa and Zzz case of ZZZ and Wuwa. Zzz global went from 19 to 10 so almost divide by 2 and china from 17 to 5.5 so almost divide by 3.
Wuwa on china is pretty much the previous china revenue divided by 2(5.5/2~2.8)

Just looked it up, it seems global increased in revenue while CN decreased.
This is quite a U-turn from last month in which CN side remained the same while global decreased.
But whatever, the website doesn't even record revenue from androids on CN, so the revenue could be higher.
For what I said above, I want to let you guys know that this is default for ALL gachas in the sensor tower, not just WuWa, so other games' CN side could make more revenue as well.

I am one that wanted to r5 shorekeeper weapon until i find out it got restricted to only baizhi and shorekeeper. It would have been the most sought after weapon if it wasn't restricted. 28% attack buff on a weapon that can be used on all sub dps/healer especially verina. It would have been the best support weapon. Stringmaster is sought after due to its universal use for dps. The weapon was a mistake to be restricted.
However, i got s2 shorekeeper that have 40% attack buff. It is broken and make TOA a walk in the park. Any dps will benefit from my all in one buff shorekeeper and make their damage viable to clear TOA with ease reducing my time spent frustrated by sec not getting 3 star. 😂
