    Do you think the center stand would work on svartpilen?
    Its good to have if you get a flat, and also to work on the svart.

      No. Won't work

    FYI, the reason you can't torque the shifter and brake bolts is because you didn't put the right washers back on. Both of them ride on bearings, and the special washers you took out (shown in your bag of spare parts at the end) make it so you can torque against the bearing and it still will allow free movement of the shifter and brake. You definitely want to go back and put those on if you have not already.

      I covered that in the build series playlist for this bike.

      Very true..
      Shifter and brake pedal can be torqued down completely with free movement only by placing the special washers in correctly..shoulder side against the bearing allows torqued screws with gear shift lever and brake petal movement.

      @jamesdunn1755 it's been covered in a later video as I stated previously.

    When putting up onto the center stand, lift on the back of the bike, don't pull it on. It is much easier.

    • @SeanFillner
      @SeanFillner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will give that a shot. Thank you!

      @@SeanFillner I had an 82 GS1100G and I couldn’t pull it up. That is when I learned to lift.

      Yes, left hand on the handle bar, right hand on some sort of grab point. Pull up with tight hand while stepping down. Looks like a great product

    I think that would make any ride more stable, need to be sure the surface you put it down on isn't loose one side, but it is made for level ground, glad you found out that salt or whatever it is, is slippery before something happened, safe riding, Happy thanksgiving, all the best to you and your loved ones

      Hi Rob! If you check out the playlist for this build series you will find the installation and my thoughts. Thanks for tuning in!

    Do you feel more vibrations without the rubber on the pegs?

    • @SeanFillner
      @SeanFillner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not notice anything however, I don't ride barefoot so maybe if you did you would notice?

      @@SeanFillner 😂 No I'm also using a brand called Motourenn pegs here in India and tried without the rubber which it comes with. I like seating position without the rubber inserts more since it gives more room and less knee bends. However I noticed the vibrations do creep in more. That''s a tradeoff I guess for the more comfortable position.

    Do you know if it is available for the Husqvarna Svartpilen?

      I would try the Duke 390 one. It might fit.

      @@SeanFillner just installed this myself, and torqued the shifter bolt and brake bolt to spec according to the official INSTALATION VIDEO, ur a hazard bro, leaving the bolts loose like that ur gonna lose ur foot levers, also the only part ur supposed to grease is the steel pins that hold the moving part of the center stand (and ofc, loctite on every bolt)

    This centre stand is a complete waste of time, a centre stand is supposed to give enough ground clearance at the front wheel to be able to remove both wheels when needed
