    Haha! this guy looks like me! I've got the 390 ADV and Svart 401, and still always eyeing a RC 390. Not sure why I'm drawn to all the bikes with the same engine. I also have the T-rex on both bikes, had to do the same exact hack on the 390. Thanks for the video!

      The motor is fantastic and more than enough power for any rider. I really love all of these bikes. They are so much fun. Stay tuned, more content to come....

    Love your updates, based on which I have made bunch of updates to my bike. One last update which blew my mind was replacing stock exhaust with Dominator HP1 (which is on lase now), I thought you may be interested as the sound is amazing and since you already have FuelX, it will do fuel remapping for you. Great job, and thanks for sharing

    FMF use to make a similar muffler design called fat max or something similar I don't think supertrapp has the oval style like that.

    does the t-rex skid plate mount to all stock locations directly on the motor or are there some additional mounting points that help make it more robust? comparing the blackdog vs the t-rex currently

      The pdf install file is available at the t-rex website. That might help answer your questions.

    Is the FuelX plug and play? I just got a Dominator full exhaust line and it doesn’t seem necessary but I do want to improve and slightly tune it. Does it come with pre installed mappings or do you have to tune it yourseld?

    hey Champ, understanding that you went with the Coober header why did you choose the X-Lite over the Coober ECU? Was it a matter of cost or is the X-Lite a better unit???

    • @SeanFillner

    I own a duke 390 2022 model and it has the same header. I wanted to make a titanium header with the stock chamber and akrapovic slip on . Will that be too loud? I want just a little bit more noise not that much . Also with the fuel x lite or pro will be ok the build ? Or do I need to put it on a dyno . Thank you so much 😃

    • @SeanFillner

      Fuel x lite autotunes for any mods you make. "Loud" is a personal preference. What is loud to some may be quiet to others and vice versa.... Thanks for tuning in!

    • @SeanFillner

      I seriously doubt it. All 3 of my bikes have suspension that works perfectly for what I am doing. I doubt there is anything I could do that would be considered an "upgrade".

    Don’t understand why you would fit a high flow header and leave that heavy restrictive centre box in place , surely deleting that first would make sense and cost less

    • @SeanFillner
      @SeanFillner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will tell you why: these motors need some sort of backpressure and removing every restriction eliminates that. Also they sound better with a header and the oem chamber. I am not concerned about weight savings on this bike at all. It actually rides much better with some weight on it. Also, cost is not an issue at all for me.

    • @ianparkes2538
      @ianparkes2538 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried without the mid box ? Why would this particular motor need extra back pressure from that box , when every other motor gets it from the silencer , not sure if the new front pipe has a cat or not ?
