Dimash is truly a one-of-a-kind amazing singer/artist/musician and I appreciate the sentiment of this new song. But for the first time since discovering Dimash almost two years ago, I just do not feel this one. Something's missing for me. Shows how incredible he is that he can put out many songs and amaze me every time (like the Beatles, Elvis, Pavorotti and Michael) except once...that is truly inspiring! This song, "We Are One" doesn't have the depth of his other songs. Seems forced, not from his soul like the others. Peace

The melody has definitely got the chord progression of Chinese music. The images of China “helping” the world are terribly disturbing to me. Since seeing this last night on another channel I’ve been feeling sorry for Dimash. This is obviously a government directive which you can’t refuse. After all, Dimash’s own apartment is in Beijing. Other young singers like IL Volo and Josh Groban are posting songs of hope from their homes, small humble productions. I wish he could have done the same. My father is a doctor, who is in frontline. I don't care about the negative mongers who see only politics and are bickering in every comments section. Why don't they stop watching it and hearing it then ,if the video and Dimash have offended them so much? They are dragging Dimash down for this, for just lending his voice. It’s difficult to appreciate the full beauty of this song when I have family members still fighting to recover from the virus. I only see Dimash singing a beautiful song with his amazing voice and the message of union to fight back the virus. If there is a polítical message behind, I completely disregard It.
I see some people complaining in the comments about the high notes, but to me, especially the last high note, is one of triumph over adversity. I feel very strong and positive listening to that one. Most of them are for showing off, but they work beautifully within this song to me. This seems to me, almost like an R&B performance. I love that!
If you look at the original video, this was made primarily for China, which makes sense because it was produced in China and his fan base there is so big. I am glad we get the opportunity to view it as well because it’s a beautiful song for the world to hear.

BRAZIL- Caleb, exciting video, beautiful and important message to the world in difficult times. Images of several cities in empty countries, but at the moment it is necessary. But we have to look at this from at least two angles: it's a good job by Dimash, putting lipstick on a musical pig (though it doesn't feature a lot of what he's good at vocally and even the scenes in which he appears are not synced properly); and it's obviously got some sort of pro-China bias. I believe Dimash could have done something original and compelling that would have had sticking power. This one won't. It will be included in the "Complete Songs of Dimash" book and will elicit only some "Did he really sing that?" remarks. I apologize if this seems harsh but I really don't think the song itself, irrespective of the motivation on Dimash's part, is worth a second look.
Everybody who said something about Chinese propaganda is 100% a brainwashed victim of the own local propaganda. The message of the song is the unity between all people and also the unity with own government. But I'm happy about a new clip, you find it on official channel of Dimash and here is more politic than in first one, but also no propaganda. :)

I don't see the need to focus on the politics, most comments are about how much of this we need and the fact that it comes through Dimash's voice is just the cherry on top. Alleluia! We are one! I love the message of the song, is a beautiful song, Dimash gives a soul to the song and is so precious I just prefered the video is was just center in the people and let the politics outside, obviously is a Chinese government propaganda and i would like they left Dimash outside of such a things like that. This MV by China's government was dedicated to medics and frontliners who were involved in battling Covid-19 desperately.......with many of them losing their lives themselves.........to encourage and to motivate them to stay strong and resolute......it's also a message to ask the citizens to unite and to support them for their hardwork and sacrifices. This MV also extends to all citizens of the world who are currently facing the same crisis everywhere.......hence the song's name WE ARE ONE......and showed people of different races. Since Dimash is well loved in China, is also a art/culture ambassador of some sorts there.....he was asked to sing the song for this MV.

Dimash is truly a one-of-a-kind amazing singer/artist/musician and I appreciate the sentiment of this new song. But for the first time since discovering Dimash almost two years ago, I just do not feel this one. Something's missing for me. Shows how incredible he is that he can put out many songs and amaze me every time (like the Beatles, Elvis, Pavorotti and Michael) except once...that is truly inspiring! I only see Dimash singing a beautiful song with his amazing voice and the message of union to fight back the virus. If there is a polítical message behind, I completely disregard It.
I see some people complaining in the comments about the high notes, but to me, especially the last high note, is one of triumph over adversity. I feel very strong and positive listening to that one. Most of them are for showing off, but they work beautifully within this song to me. This seems to me, almost like an R&B performance. I love that!
If you look at the original video, this was made primarily for China, which makes sense because it was produced in China and his fan base there is so big. I am glad we get the opportunity to view it as well because it’s a beautiful song for the world to hear.

Dimash has a pure heart. He gives the world the gift of his voice, his love and his entire existence! He has the best intention, no doubt! In this case, however, political propaganda is obvious, what is the Chinese President doing in the video? This is not from Dimash himself, of course - but in this case they used him. I want to separate that with all my strength from his song and his deepest wish to unite the world! I am a DEAR with all my heart! But you can't just drop by either - it remains important that Dimash's mission is not used by a political side if possible - the world as a whole needs what Dimash stands for - otherwise it takes some power away from his light, and that would be an absolute pity!

It doesn't matter which leader of which country is featured, those serving at the frontlines are the heroes here so we can be thankful for their daily sacrifices and empathise with their loved ones. Dimash is nobody's tool and those of us who follow him closely know he has the brain power and the spiritual values to apply himself intelligently to any challenge so of course he'd give this song his all. He is after all the One Belt Road Ambassador and the cultural bridge between China & Khazakstan. But sharing the message of the song with the world is the big one. Our individual politics has no place in this video, only goodwill and brotherhood. So pls lets leave our political leanings and beliefs aside for the sake of unity and not to diminish the beauty of the message Dimash brings.

I mean, even once the scale of this tragedy became clear, their own denials, woeful inaction, and piecemeal response to preventing this virus' spread at a time when other countries were taking decisive action, makes them directly responsible for many preventable deaths not only within their *own* populations, but worldwide - and that doesn't tend to go down too well with voters, especially of those countries where their leaders are currently campaigning for re-election...!
@@Tricia_K You're right, what Trump is doing these days is really wrong. He is just trying to find the culprits! But Chinese propaganda is much more subtle than that. In Europe they have tried to spread the idea that the member countries of the union do nothing and it is only China that will save the world. Although the EU warned of this, not many understood. And to spread the message, CCP used exactly the same images as the ones in this video. I know and understand perfectly what Dimash wanted to convey and i love him for that! But those who made the video pushed things beyond his message of unity, into the territory of politics ... And I have a feeling he's not very happy about it...
I love the song, the lyrics and of course Dimash. But this was purely a Chinese propaganda video from the communist government. I almost lost my 22 year-old-grandaughter to this virus. Xi covered up the outbreak for a month and 1000's died around the world and now world economies have crashed. Having Xi showed in the video was in really poor taste. I love the song, but now it is spoiled for me. My heart breaks for the Chinese people but their Leader caused 1000's of deaths the world over and is still lying about the start of the outbreak and lying about the number of Chinese people who died.

DIMASH DOES A LOT OF HIS OWN PHOTOGRAPHY. Sorry about caps not Screaming I leave that to Dimash. He has his hand on anything involving himself and his music. He does very very few interviews he is VERY PRIVATE and will not answer personal questions. He did say he gets 16-18,000 letters at times in one day especially from DEARS. Love that he is his own man and he lets no one bully him into doing anything he does not want to or feel is right. He has HIGH family values and was raised that way. BRAZIL- Caleb, exciting video, beautiful and important message to the world in difficult times. Images of several cities in empty countries, but at the moment it is necessary. I admire his personality and maturity to separate what really matters, which is Dimash's good intention and not China's propaganda, as many comments I read and prefer to ignore, not answer, because everything is politically, racism, unfortunately. You've touched on some great points in your reaction to this song. First of all -- wow. Yeah, it's Dimash. As they say, he could sing the phone book and it'd be wonderful. He really gets to soaring at some points.
Your remark that the song has an 80s/90s vibe to it rings true, but that's more positive than I would be. Musically, it is uninteresting and lyrically, mawkish. It's like that phone book -- the sort of public service jingle the local bank puts out during a hurricane (We are "Name of City" strong!)
Would you have even reacted to this song were it not sung by Dimash? I didn't think so.....
Yes, the topic is current to all of us and I'm not diminishing what frontline workers are doing to fight the virus. But we have to look at this from at least two angles: it's a good job by Dimash, putting lipstick on a musical pig (though it doesn't feature a lot of what he's good at vocally and even the scenes in which he appears are not synced properly); and it's obviously got some sort of pro-China bias.
I believe Dimash could have done something original and compelling that would have had sticking power. This one won't. It will be included in the "Complete Songs of Dimash" book and will elicit only some "Did he really sing that?" remarks.
I apologize if this seems harsh but I really don't think the song itself, irrespective of the motivation on Dimash's part, is worth a second look.
Everybody who said something about Chinese propaganda is 100% a brainwashed victim of the own local propaganda. The message of the song is the unity between all people and also the unity with own government.
But I'm happy about a new clip, you find it on official channel of Dimash and here is more politic than in first one, but also no propaganda. :)

I don't see the need to focus on the politics, most comments are about how much of this we need and the fact that it comes through Dimash's voice is just the cherry on top. Alleluia! We are one!
