The Athletic's Robert Mays on Deshaun Watson, Nick Chubb & the Cleveland Browns defense

- Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was limited in practice Wednesday because of "general arm soreness," according to coach Kevin Stefanski.
Stefanski previously said the plan was to play Watson in the preseason finale against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday and that all starters should expect to play. But after Wednesday's practice, Stefanski wouldn't divulge his plans for Watson.
The Cleveland Browns are set to play their final preseason game of the year this weekend. With that in mind, the regular season is almost here and the Browns are still dealing with some major key injuries.
One of those injuries has to do with star cornerback Denzel Ward.

Watsons last time on the field was spectacular. I mean yes getting hurt has made him “bad” due to unavailability but when he has played it hasn’t been that bad.
Baker Mayfield and DeShawn Watson will forever be linked because of the circumstances. Fans need to realize that unless Watson wins in the playoffs they will stay connected. Watson has to win to break the link.

@@OSULiveMusic I remember Jim Kelly throwing the playoff game ending interception to Clay Mathews in the end zone at Muni Stadium when he was a young QB. He went on go to 4 straight super bowls. You have no idea how the future plays out. He was a young QB with 3 coordinators in 3 years. Now the Browns are going to pay a heavy price for their impatience and lack of understanding how that works.
