MICROLOGIX 1400 TROUBLESHOOTING||Allen-Bradley|| How To Restart Micrologix 1400 if display is blank?

Hello Everyone..
I hope you all are doing good..Today video is on Allen Bradley Micrologix 1400. One of my machinery had Fault alarm and Module controller display was blank..so I inspected checked control circuit and power circuit found all ok even I found module input voltage.
I faced the same problem previously on Siemens controller.i tried one trick..I warmed up the controller for 7 seconds and that moment controller switch on itself without loosing programs..so I tried same trick on this controller and i found its working..Guys soon I will share video and same trick on Siemens PLC controller..

Hello James..
It's good to know that this heating method worked.. We need to heat up the whole PCB.. Recently, i was in canada, and due to a sudden change of weather, I faced the same problem with VFD PCB. Later on, I had to heat up PCB, and I was able to operate VFD..

I have a question of heating using heat gun of PLC may i know is the weather is cold so need to pre-heat?

It's happens during cold weather if the PLC is old. Then, we need to replace PLC.

Hi.. first switch off plc 230vAc, Now use a hot gun to preheat PLC for at least 10 seconds..then switch on power..plc will be On..
DONOT OPEN PLC TO INSPECT.YOU MIGHT LOST ALL PROGRAM IF YOU DISCONNECT PLC BATTERY..
