Mate I remember Crouchy for his touch and his hold up play more than anything. You could stick anything up to him, and he'd bring it down and spread. So useful.
He could bring almost any ball down with perfect control his height made people not appreciate his genuine skill as much as it should have been. Saw him at Stoke for 8 seasons I think he will always be my favorite player.
One of my all time favourite strikers. So entertaining to watch with a wide range of skills that belied his gangly height. A really fun guy too loved by the fans and the team. I really enjoyed listening to his hilarious podcast, which really captured the life of a footballer with all of the ups and downs.
Thank you for all the memmories Peter we will never forget your ''Perfect hatrick'' against Arsenal, that bicycle kick vs Boloton and Gala, and the FA Cup goal that knocked Manutd to name a few..and also the couple you got against us for Stoke... All the very best of luck for the future. Lots of love, YNWA
Lobe crouch but if crouch started then we’d have had to leave out Mascherano. And as soon as we took off Mash went to 2 up top with crouch and Kuyt we conceded the second goal. Hard decisions.
i'll never forget his perfect hat trick against arsenal... the first following penant's and arbeloa's string of back flicks. For me, his last one perfectly encapsulates crouchy - technique, composure, and class. love you crouchy!
Watching his goal against Wigan really brings back memories, I had just began supporting Liverpool that season and he was my favourite player. I remembered reading an article about his goal drought on the newspaper so it was a great feeling to finally see his name on the scoresheet on Sunday morning while checking for Liverpool’s result from the previous night on TV. That match kick-started his good run of form as he was scoring more frequently since, those were the days.
This lad would be a great ambassador for our club. Get ye fingers out LFC. He's passionate about Liverpool and football. Humble and a great professional. I feel he's out shine Michael Owen
Who remembers the Peter Crouch goal drought in his first season at the club? What a relief it was for him and for all LFC fans when he finally scored his first goal. Crouch gave us his best years and won the FA Cup for us.
I remember reading an article years ago which described watching Crouch play as being like watching a double-bass fall down a spiral staircase XD .. given his stature he was always bizarrely agile and acrobatic. Great touch too.
Unbeleivable skill crouch had ,everytime I watched him. Not just goals, he was fantastic at receiving the ball, holding the ball and playing people in aswell. Definitely underrated
I love crouchie man...remembered it took forever for him to start scoring for liverpool..until that 2 goal brace against wigan..was so happy for him when he started scoring 😁👏🏼💪🏼
Fun to watch... Years ago I played keeper and midfield for a team with three forwards over 6'2" .... I had enough leg to boot the ball from my 16 to the other 20/25, and fast enough at mid to center easy headers. Goals in buckets against short players
He's big, he's red, his feet stick out the bed, Peter Crouch.

What an amazing athlete. You would never think someone with his height would have that kind of touch and technical ability. One of a kind player!

@@TheKomentor Luca Toni of Italy was very tall as well, also a top striker during his time. But I do think Crouch is taller.

Don’t forget Fabio Aurelio best left back of my lifetime better than JAR and only topped by Robbo
He would thrive in today's game with all the crosses that are sent in.
Gotta like that smile!
I love his dancing. I know he always do his best for Liverpool! Thanks living legend!
To be honest *Peter Crouch* is one of the best English Strikers at his peak ⚽, he was too underrated smh💯

Spot on, mate. Criminally underrated.
Ive been listening to both Peter's Podcasts and decided to come watch his goals, what a player
Loved Crouchie, always gave 100%, and for his size and build had the most deft touch. A really under rated player.
