@@dwiandiprasetyo597 yeah but they just brought different assets to the table aurelio was absolutely brilliant at free kicks (MUFC 0-4 LFC) was the most memorable one and risse had a left foot that could kick the ball around the world and finnan was a great defender

Mate I remember Crouchy for his touch and his hold up play more than anything. You could stick anything up to him, and he'd bring it down and spread. So useful.

He could bring almost any ball down with perfect control his height made people not appreciate his genuine skill as much as it should have been. Saw him at Stoke for 8 seasons I think he will always be my favorite player.
Finnan is an absolute legend. Never saw him with other legends when there’s a friendly match..wonder where he is now

For a man so tall, crouch had fantastic balance, footwork, and he had amazing composure and finishing ability. Great great player!

Lobe crouch but if crouch started then we’d have had to leave out Mascherano. And as soon as we took off Mash went to 2 up top with crouch and Kuyt we conceded the second goal. Hard decisions.

Who remembers the Peter Crouch goal drought in his first season at the club? What a relief it was for him and for all LFC fans when he finally scored his first goal. Crouch gave us his best years and won the FA Cup for us.

Watching his goal against Wigan really brings back memories, I had just began supporting Liverpool that season and he was my favourite player. I remembered reading an article about his goal drought on the newspaper so it was a great feeling to finally see his name on the scoresheet on Sunday morning while checking for Liverpool’s result from the previous night on TV. That match kick-started his good run of form as he was scoring more frequently since, those were the days.
i'll never forget his perfect hat trick against arsenal... the first following penant's and arbeloa's string of back flicks. For me, his last one perfectly encapsulates crouchy - technique, composure, and class. love you crouchy!

His goal from outside the penalty area against Man City with Stoke in 2012 (if I'm not mistake) was absolutely stunning...
I remember reading an article years ago which described watching Crouch play as being like watching a double-bass fall down a spiral staircase XD .. given his stature he was always bizarrely agile and acrobatic. Great touch too.

Fun to watch... Years ago I played keeper and midfield for a team with three forwards over 6'2" .... I had enough leg to boot the ball from my 16 to the other 20/25, and fast enough at mid to center easy headers. Goals in buckets against short players
