My friend who lives in Taiwan in 2012 said his school was suspended so they could watch the League of Legends world champions. When the Taipei assassins won, the principal took the entire school to get boba to celebrate.
Given the fact that you probably think these liberals are actual communist leftists, you should know that they don’t believe there is ethical consumption under capitalism. Every product in a store was made by the exploitation of people in countries you probably don’t think about more than twice a year, and the only real way to fight that is through systemic change (given the fact that the biggest personal polluters in America are the wealthy, and they sure as hell aren’t gonna live life without private jets and massive lawns that constantly need watering and pesticides).
I was gonna laugh and have a fun wholesome reply but now that you’ve said it… I’m so mad 😠 😠 😠 {insert angry fake angry rant I’m too lazy to type out} grrrrrrr mad (/j for all the TH-cam comment trolls out there)
Get some brown sugar and added to water, and then simmer down into a sauce, now drizzle the sauce around the edges of the cup before pouring the tea. Perfect recipe for diabetes (and bliss for a short moment in time). 😂
I almost can't believe I'm actually suggesting this but I like you guys enough to suggest inserting tiny subscription suggestions into these things. At least in the description so the end of year KPIs reflect tangible benefits.
I’m impressed how good the Washington Post is at making shorts. Like on one hand, they certainly have the money to make it happen, but on the other, the internet is used to businesses failing horribly at emulating what others are doing.
For the tea use one tea bag into boiling water and when it turn into tea take tea bag out and add condensed milk and then I is done if you don't have condensed milk just add milk
I know the Washington Post is a newspaper, also remember that newspapers and magazines and stuff used to also include random recipes in it probably for the same reason to improve viewer engagement
Yess Taiwanese intern!!!!!! ❤❤🎉 珍珠奶茶❤ how do you find the correct tasting black tea?? I've tried a few but can't get it to taste the same as a boba store 😢
As a southerner, the only acceptable amount of sugar for tea is roughly three cups per gallon. If you cant taste the diabetes happening, you havent added enough sugar
Remember if you are in a country with „hard water“ (aka much calk and other minerals in the water like in most of Europe) the tea needs less time boiling or else it gets bitter fast
That’s cause Taiwanese people barely have much feats because the Taiwanese Ethnicity is quite a new concept and one of the early inventions from a Taiwanese made in Taiwan was Boba. However something even more famous made by a Taiwanese was Instant Noodles since Momofuku Ando was born in Taiwan but he moved to Japan and then Made Instant Noodles. I think part of the reason is because we as Taiwanese don’t really have much and constantly get overshadowed as Chinese. Anyways sorry if I got too deep I just wanna be patriotic.
There's problems with any and every kind of straw out there, and it's kind of ableist to tell people they shouldn't be using plastic straws if their health makes other kinds unsafe or not usable.
Sometimes I forget the Washington post is a newspaper and not just a TikTok account
I just realized what the Washington post was
The about page is just "We are a newspaper"
Easy to remember when you remember this is youtube and not tiktok
So this is what tiktok is like? I'm glad i don't do tiktok.
This goober isn't all bad though. He certainly is strange
I didn't even realize it before reading this comment
I know there’s usually cooking segments on the news, but a cooking lesson that gives you news is a niche that I think needs to be explored.
Yeah, I think he's really on to something here.
10/10 I'd definitely watch more news if it was hidden in food content!

I'd be down to have the news on the top and the cooking at the bottom, too. Like the reddit stories with subway surfers, but for news
i keep forgetting that this is an official washington post account and not just some random people bc these are legitimately hilarious and fun

No, you just give too much credit to angry people on the internet. Deradicalise yourself.
"Be smart yo" should be WaPo's new tagline.
I really needed this. I have Boba pearls and don't know what to do!!
I love the catchphrase be smart, y’all and wish that he continues on with this type of cooking/informational trends
Thanks for the recipe! This is one of my favorite treats! 💕🧋🇹🇼

I always assumed that WaPo was keeping this account on a tight leash, but I'm slowly realizing that these guys can really just do whatever they want.
This was a pleasant surprise; the cooking sections.😂
And that’s on being a cool newspaper company
During this heatwave, he should make Sun Tea. It'll also give him more time to read the news.
I didn't know there's pre-sweetened boba pearls! I'll have to keep an eye out for them.
Wait that's the *actual* Washington Post?? I thought the newsy reading was a bit 😂 I love this!!
They need to start replacing news shows with cooking shows in which they read the news while waiting for the food to cook
I had no idea of the origin! Thank u so much. I LOVE Boba tea
Ah yes, the cooking channel with news on a side
I love this so much!!! You are spectacular!
Ur people are smart thank you for the boba tea❤❤❤❤

10:1 water to tapioca. Is that by weight or volume?
