Pausing before the start,and,... Wow, that's one Empty grandstand! We're all 100% thankful the race is on a free platform, streaming services would just bury this in background somewhere.
So glad to hear Mark tell the difference between today and the IMSA of old. I remember when Jim called Roger Edmondson to create Grand Am; an organization that had parity, affordability with limited factory involvement, allowing 'privateers' a chance to win, which wasn't available over in the ALMS. After Roger, Jim, and Mark created the Grand Am prototypes; with multiple engine and transmission packages and 3 chassis suppliers a VERY competitive and exciting series was born!
G'day to the Production Team - Fixed position IP cameras? Gotta love how you can put those fixed cameras in places where it wouldn't be safe to have an operator. We stick 'em on the walls of dragstrips for great close up action :)
I thought Kevin Doran's remarks about pulling the old, 3-ring spec book out of the drawer and not changing a thing, was fantastic! I remember the Momo car driven into fame, when that young, unknown Italian driver became 'Mad Max' that year with the unforgettable drive that morning. The 333 and the driver went into the annuls of Daytona history, as one of the great6est finishes ever! So remarkable to see Kevin with his old car and Mark's brother Martin on the 'Team'. So wished that Grahan could have had a better trip.
Thank you making this available for us to see! Fantastic.
I've been looking at tracks and races to attend in the fall. Thanks to 10 minutes of this I HAVE to go to Daytona and see these cars and people!

I was there last year, came across the pond to attend, had an amazing experience Daytona is an icon of a racetrack
Very cool. Had a IROC Pontiac there..🏆🏁 Thanks for having this for us to watch and enjoy.👏👏👍
