Coz of Bollywood's dominance we were so very much inclined n attached to the Western culture, that we didn't pay any heed to our own cultures that are so colorful n beautiful in the whole world. That is why films like Kantara n Kartikeya 2 found our love. And moreover these movies were so brilliantly presented that just word of mouth was enough to advertise it. Its called Bhootkola or butakola, this is a kind of aradhana/worship of Daivas/boots/demigods. Majority of the South Canara people worship different demigods. Some are specific to a house, some to a village, some to a group of villages or temple. This is a video of one such aradhane.
@@drchetana8389 yes Kandettu falls in Mangalore and this aaradhane is from that place is what I can make out as its mentioned in the title, but the aaradhane is performed in Udupi and some villages in Kasaragod district as well.
