    Hi! I just have a quick question. Can i use brown or normal sugar instead of dextrose?

    • @ezmushroom
      @ezmushroom  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure, in theory it should work but i've never tried it. You can extract dextrose from potatoes quite easily.
      Also honey could work but im not sure at what % unfortunately. Liquid cultures are normally 4% so id start from there

    In theory, could this be done on popcorn or does it need to be the grains you were using?

    • @ezmushroom
      @ezmushroom  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure about popcorn but wheat, rye, oats, soybean work

    Great video! Thanks for sharing. Is your brother recipe a good beginner recipe? i see people with 10-20 ingredients in their broths, but that is daunting for a beginner

      Yes perfect for beginners, there is another video on this channel growing in Jars too that is a bit more detailed.

    Thank you for these cordycep videos. I am going to start growing them. It would be nice to find a video on how to cook and eat them for good health?
    Is it dangerous to eat too many? I have a lot of questions on these as I know the Chinese consumed them to help them win the Olympics.

      I actually fried them and they tasted good like crisps. I will be making a few videos on tinctures soon.
      Not sure about eating too many, most studies use up to 3 grams a day for up to a year but its probably just best to see how you respond.

      I wonder if frying them would kill the nutrients.
      3 grams a day.. TY
