jiyeon was qri after she does surgery
ahjussi and jiyeon are bounty hunters, that's why they were paid [jiyeon taking a look at the money at beach scene] when they turned over the gambler to the police officer. the police officer in civilian clothes knew him cos the ahjussi was also a police officer as can be seen on the flashback. imo he retired cos of the guilt of accidentally shooting jiyeon's father, though it's cos what they're trained to do - to not take any chances on any sudden movements a criminal does. but since you can't take the cop out of a cop, it's in their blood he later opted to be a bounty hunter instead.

Jiyeon got huge injuries after the fight and was thrown out the car, Eun Jung brought her to the hospital. She got a surgery and looked different (become Qri). Thats why no one recognized her at the first sight.

in this MV, Hyomin and Eunjung is "cameo" who's only take little part of the movie, just like Soyeon in the "sexy love drama MV", while eunjung and hyomin gonna be the main role in there.
And yes I admit when the car scene (at the end) they have a really good transition between jiyeon and qri part, so it must be hard for you to know for sure when was jiyeon/qri part at that moment ~just follow the beauty mark on qri's nose then you'll be fine.
At last, every T-ara member is well known for their acting skill and each one of em have their own movie role in the past, that's why their acting is well played, guaranteed!

I knew that you would be confused by Qri and Jiyeon but I didn’t want to explain it before so you wouldn’t know the story 😅.
But they are the same person by the name Jiyeon after being kidnapped they hit her as you can see when she went to the hospital having blood all over her face then they did plastic surgery which changed her that’s when she became Qri if you noticed in the beginning of the lovey dovey mv Qri was looking in the mirror as if she is not used to the face yet.
he called her Jiyeon when he went to help her in the lovey dovey mv but it was Qri at that time. Jiyeon only played her role in the car scene as he is seeing her by her old look but it kept changing between jiyeon and qri but mainly jiyeon acting.
As you guessed hyomin part is to show that the guy is kind and I feel like she reminded him of jiyeon a young girl being forced to do these jobs.
Eunjung calling him Uncle it’s actually Ahjussi which means older-guys like middle aged.
Hope you enjoyed the story and the acting. The day by day/sexy love drama is less complicated and you would get to see their acting more as 3 members will have the main role. Will be waiting for your reaction🙏🏻

Let me break down the summary of the MV. The ahjussi at the beginning is a police officer, and when raiding a gang he came across Ji Chang Wook who got away but ended up killing the boss who had a daughter. He realized his mistake of killing the boss suddenly thinking he was reaching for the weapon when he was reaching for his daughter, since he was feeling guilty about it he adopts the daughter who happened to be jiyeon. After the time loop it shows that he had become a head hunter for the police who catches criminals and hands them over based on a hit list for money along with Jiyeon’s help. When they come across Ji Chang Wook he doesn’t want to accept the job cause he knows that Ji Chang Wook knows he killed Jiyeon’s father. When Jiyeon goes shopping for her Ahjussi she comes across Ji Chang Wook (JCW) and decides to go after him which ends up with him capturing her cause he realized that he’s wanted. When he goes through her Wallet he comes across the picture she had with her father and another one with her ahjussi and realizes that she’s his old bosses daughter. After telling her who killed her father he uses her to kill Ahjussi since he was the one who destroyed his old gang. This is where the rest of the action happens where JCW tells Jiyeon to kill Ahjussi but she can’t bear to do that and instead shoots JCW. After he is hit he shoots Ahjussi who tries to go to Jiyeon and then kidnaps Jiyeon again.
In the lovey Dovey video Qri is basically Jiyeon who has had a plastic surgery which changed her appearance after the multiple wounds she got from her fight with JCW’s gang. This is why nobody recognized her and she was the only one who recognized Ahjussi and JCW. And Eunjung and hereself are not detectives but are pickpocketers who approaches guys in clubs and takes their wallets. This is when things go bad for them when they accidentally steal a bag of heroin which belongs to JCW’s gang. I hope that the rest is clear anyway. At the end when they are driving to save Ahjussi, they are switching up between Jiyeon and Qri cause in Ahjussi’s eyes Jiyeon is always gonna be Jiyeon even though the appearance changed (to Qri). So they continuously change between the two to show that it’s the same old Jiyeon.
yes its true this mv was produced by their company and also loen aka 1thek now who also own melon and kakaoM .. their producer before said they will produced a kinda high quality mv that would level up the MV kind in kpop
I first watched the drama MVs when I was trying to get to know them so I kinda understand your confusion. I was hella confused as well but watching you watch it made me understand the music videos haha.
The 2ne1 song with the same vibe-ish is Go Away and yeah that made me felt off too.
I think though that Ahjussi's not a police officer or something but like, a hired killer of gangs.
I kinda agree with Justing Yeung's comment on Hyomin that maybe her character was a filler. to show that the Ahjussi is still kind and to justify why she took care of Jiyeon.
And yes it is possible that it was a face change thing. like, Eunjung found Jiyeon on the streets (Lovey Dovey) then they had her face reconstructed and Jiyeon's now Qri. Also, I think, to match that her personality also changed after that incident in cry cry mv.
The last part I think, when they were supposed to be driving at the hospital, the change between Qri and Jiyeon just shows that for Ahjussi, in his dying state, he was seeing Jiyeon and Jiyeon (played by Qri) is only Jiyeon when Ahjussi is around.
Anyway, I did not know it was that long. I had fun watching the reaction video and the theories you have made in the beginning :)

the man the ahjussi does not want to capture was jiyeon's father's right hand man.
even though the bounty was high as jiyeon said, ahjussi does not want jiyeon to go near anyone from her past cos they might discover she's their boss' daughter and tell her everything.
oh boy, this is exciting! your reaction itself is like one whole mini movie long XD I haven't watched these in years, maybe even since they came out o.o
well, I think he just assumed that he took Jiyeon in since considering her look as a child, she would probably be 18 or younger in the present, so she'd have to have been raised by someone. or perhaps he figured that since she's in the same business as her adoptive dad, perhaps she just followed in his footsteps with his work. (or of course, it's just convenient plot exposition lol)
hm, I feel like maybe Hyomin's part was showing how the Ahjusshi maybe took pity on Hyomin, the girl who's caught doing the dirty work for the gang, and that reminded him of Jiyeon's situation? not really sure tho XD
maybe the Ahjusshi felt too guilty to face Jiyeon and rescue her?? idk lol
oh wow, yeah how confusing that Qri is playing Jiyeon in the Lovey-Dovey MV LOL I always thought it weird that Qri and Jiyeon had like the same hairstyle in these MVs XD I guess they did it to emphasize how Jiyeon changed, both her attitude and looks?? maybe it's the "facial reconstruction" cliche XD
I think Jiyeon is in the flashbacks, that scene when Eunjung picks her up off the street, and in the final car scene
well maybe Eunjung just heard a deep, older male's voice and figured he was an "ahjusshi" rather than an "oppa" lol. or yeah, maybe she recognised his voice since she'd been to his shop before

the ahjussi let hyomin the pickpocket go, because he was after the big fish - the pickpocketer's boss, explains why they tailed hyomin first. these kind of bosses exploits poor kids cos they know if the kids are arrested they will just be released by police because of juvenile laws.
So those bosses can continue exploiting those kids again once they're released.

FINALLY! ive been waiting this reaction video... glad you uploaded it now... i was just rewatching your reaction Playlist to T-ARA then i saw this.. i thought first its just Cry Cry MV but i notice its 1 hour duration then immediately check the uploading date.. so.. wow finally bro... this is ICONIC men.. T-ARA Drama MV, until now no one dethrone it from being the longest & most expensive MV of a KPop group..
49:24 Das mit den Onkel war auch in DE nicht so unüblich. Kleine Kinder bezeichnen Fremde oft als Onkel/Tante und das was früher sogar mal als Anrede von Kindern an ältere Menschen akzeptiert. Heute ist das nicht mehr so üblich.
Es bezeichnet hier eher eine höfliche Form der Anrede die auch einen gewissen Grad der Vertrautheit erweckt gegenüber einer deutlich älteren Person, ähnlich wie dem oppa/unnie gegenüber Älteren, wo der Altersabstand aber deutlich kleiner ist. ;)
the flashbacks when Qri rides a bus are different on CINEMATIC version and FINAL EDIT version
cinematic - it's of qri[plastic surgery]/jiyeon and ahjussi,jiyeon's moments together. i noticed cos 26m23s of th-cam.com/video/xFp4VldHLOA/w-d-xo.html shows jiyeon's face with injuries which i don't remember seeing on the vids cru3l tmo watched. then back to noodle shop with ahjussi.
final edit - it's of jiyeon being thrown off the street and eunjung trying to pick pocket her but stopped when she found out jiyeon is still awake. sees her bloodied face and was about to leave but her conscience bothered her, so she took jiyeon to the hospital. then back to noodle shop with ahjussi.
Love the reaction a lot but I wish that you remembered ji Chang wook as the bad guy who stabbed the police officer and ran away in the first scene cause he’s a major part in the MV and also cause it’s Ji Chang Wook!!! How did you not remember him!!??? 😄 and also the older videos which had a storyline showed their idols being beaten and showed off their acting skills without a problem cause the fans of 2nd gen groups are not crazy and obsessive like the fans nowadays. They know the difference between acting and reality and did not get offended for the smallest thing like the fans nowadays 😅

After watching Day by Day and Sexy Love, I recommend you to react to other group which is SPEED, T-ARA's Little brother group. Their Drama version which is 'That's my fault' and 'It's Over'.
The reason why it is confusing for first time watchers or even some of those who already watched it for example, Qri suddenly showing up to act for Jiyeon's role in Lovey Dovey mv.
The video sources for lovekpopsubs8's crycry and taylor chou's loveydovey engsubs are 1theK as both vids have the same durations, with 1thek's vids. 15m48s and 20m31s. I call these vids as FINAL EDIT versions
The version uploaded by Haqita i call it CINEMATIC version because it keeps the audio on the scuffle,punches,grunts while on the FINAL EDIT versions the audio is musical score.
The CINEMATIC version shows jiyeon getting plastic surgery with qri's face being shown after the medical gauze was removed, near the end of cry cry's mv.

the source of confusion by many is if they watch the split engsubs for crycry and loveydovey which are sourced from official 1thek FINAL EDIT versions, jiyeon getting plastic surgery was only shown on loveydovey mv when qri was already confusing everyone for being jiyeon.
while for those who watched the CINEMATIC version, it shows the jiyeon getting plastic surgery with medical gauze removed showing qri's face near cry cry's ending, so when lovey dovey starts there is no confusion.
i see, the reason why the editors removed the jiyeon getting plastic surgery part near ending of CINEMATIC cry cry on the 1theK FINAL EDIT version CRYCRY, is because they showed it at FINAL EDIT version LOVEYDOVEY - on flashback scene of jiyeon thrown out of car, taken to hospital. they must have thought it's repetitive, they were trying to cut the vid to make it fit for two 15minute parts.
imo they might have thought it was repetitive if they kept both in cry cry & lovey dovey.
what's wrong is they kept the qri face after removing medical gauze on lovey dovey part and removed that on crycry part.
they should have kept the cry cry part for continuity, so it introduces the viewers that the qri now is still jiyeon but only had plastic surgery to escape her past and removed it on the flashback on lovey dovey if they didn't want repetition.
lovey dovey part it is qri acting jiyeon's role. different face now cos of plastic surgery to escape her past.
i see, i think the reason why jiyeon/qri[plastic surgery] stayed after telling eunjung to escape is because she might have already planned to kill the gang boss who wants to kill the man/ahjussi that she loved and still loves even though she now hates cos she found out ithe truth. love is greater than hate thingie.
