What really gets me about the Shroud incident isn't just that the clearly dyslexic kid couldn't get it, even with the host's help. No, what gets me is that *the other two kids didn't understand what was wrong, either.* They didn't even ATTEMPT to fix the problem. Jesus.
I can see how that might appear to be the case, it might very well have been, but for me these are kids in too much of a rush, they weren't thinking and communicating clearly. It was like a game of telephone played through a kaleidoscope , even if they all were on the same page, they didn't slow down enough to guide well enough to the answer.
I would love to see this show rebooted and maybe brought to the states. This looked so cool! Think how much cooler they could make this with today's technology. As long as they use real actors. Anybody have any suggestions as to who should be Treagar(sp?). I vote for Ian McShane, no wait, Peter MacNicol!
I'm always trying to be a smart ass when someone in the show says that you'll need to answer their questions to proceed, and they answer wrong... Well, you only asked that answer your question/riddle. Not answering it right.
More like an ethnicity or regional... type? Race? From the vague notes in the books, I guessed they were hobbits that failed to immigrate west to the area later called the Shire. Records on hobbits are sketchy; heck, even Gandalf, the biggest hobbit nerd ever, didn't know much about Smeagol's clan. Basically, Tolkien didn't care and just threw up his hands.
Мда, максимум что было у нас хоть чуточку похожим на это шоу - "Позвоните Кузе". Хотя, если вспомнить, у нас были свои не менее годные телеигры для детей - Звёздный Час с Супоневым, Джунгли Зовут и прочие.
God I miss classic Spoony One :(
So do I.
It´s sad that you have to watch reuploads with subtitle to enjoy many of his old videos. Miss the old SpoonyOne.
This show needs a comeback.
Heck maybe hosting the show would save spoony.

Do not say: "Right." when giving directions, unless referring to the direction right. Say: "YES!"

It wasn't the BBC (CBBC), it was actually broadcast on ITV (CITV).

I'd love to see the team when they tried spelling shovel with a p

Reminds me of that Carmen Sandiego game show they used to have on PBS.

Knightmare wasn't on the BBC at all it was on citv and itv. Don't believe me search it in Wikipedia.

2:32 That Dialog references Mission Impossible for C64 which little people noticed. :D
in these dark times we need a Spoony One
Yes, we could use the old SpoonyOne. But not the current....sadly
It wasn't BBC, it was CITV.
Also later seasons their award
Is the symbol of Lord fear frightnight trophy.
9:55 Wadsworth, am I right in thinking there is no one else in this house?
Was this shown in the States? On PBS maybe? Never saw it as a tot.
Спасибо большое!
Xyzzy is the name of a raid boss in Dungeons and Dragons Online.
They couldn't spell shroud? lmao
The word was spelled and the letters were on the screen for them to see. Dyslexia isn't even a good excuse for this level of absolute dumbfuckery
***** here here!
*shrud
I always thought Deagol and Smeagol were predecessors to the hobbit race.

Jacob Smith to be fair smeagol didn't talk much about himself
