Hey thanks so much for watching! If you enjoyed this video it would mean the world to me if you could give it a thumbs up and subscribe! Lots more to come!
I live in Albuquerque and love visiting this area. It's a must see if you're a photographer. I actually won Best of Show at the New Mexico State Fair in 2021 with a photo from this area. Your photography is amazing. Watching your videos is always enjoyable. And they help me plan future trips/hikes. Keep the videos coming!
I've lived in NM for 30+ years and have never been here. It reminds me of a place I did some Milkyway photography last year, Goblin Valley State Park, UT. That place is bigger but has very similar hoodoos and formations (but the colors are much more reddish at Goblin). This place is now on my list for some Astro Photography.
If you had continued another 200 yards in the easterly direction you took to the eggs you would have found the hoodoo lounge, literally thousand of monoliths both huge and small
Oh... and the pronunciation is Beasty badlands. And Ah She Slay Pa (as in the sound for awe) and Day Nah Zin (as in shin)... in case you ever go back and do another video. 😊
Hey man! I'm heading here in September, any recommendations on where to stay? My fiancée and I are renting a camper van for our honeymoon. Any tips are much appreciated!
To my understanding, no. Even though it is BLM Land, it is also Navajo Land and I believe you can't fly on Navajo land. Anyways, thank you for watching!
It's pronounced 'Beez-TIE.' I learned that from a Navajo woman who was at the entrance gate to Goosenecks State Park. Hopefully she wasn't messing with me, lol.
Some of these places are so difficult to pronounce. And it's tough because sometimes we have heard locals themselves pronounce the places differently. I try my best to say everything properly, but thank you for this tip

We're travelling there in July. It's the only time we can visit. What kind of ND filter did you use, Kelly?
Thanks for taking us exploring with you!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching!

Stay at the Brentwood Inn & Gardens off Broadway in Farmington north off 371 and 64, spacious clean rooms very reasonable prices
Did you ever get there? Went a few weeks ago. Took forever to find lol
@@gkLA33 yes I did! It was awesome. I’ll be uploading clips soon
I usually find the most inhabitable places the most beautiful
same haha
Kevin were you not aloud to fly a drone in any of those places? Love the videos

@@KevinEassa Thanks Kevin!
Only if the drone is 249 grams or less
A large part of the Bisti is capital W Wilderness, so no motorized devices allowed.

Do you have to walk that far, or is it accessible by offroad motorcycles?
Seems like a mountain bike would be a good way to get around there.
Did you find any Dino bone
not on this trip!
That what'd up! STAY AWAY
