So bassicaly what's the difference between windburner amd reactor. Windburner can addjust fuel and reactor can not, is that correct ? I would like to buy the one that can cook rice. Cheers mate 👍

I wouldn't contemplate boiling rice in a Reactor, so the WindBurner is the one to opt for. Generally when making rice at home the aim is to have as little water as possible left in the pan at the end of cooking. On a Reactor if your pan boils dry not only will you weld the rice to base the pan, but the pan will rapidly overheat and trip the thermal safety mechanism on the Reactor. This protects the stove from overheating, which in a worst case scenario would cause the canister to explode. There is no reset..

@@proagencies MSR can reset it if you send it back to them, although saying that maybe they just send you a new unit

The Windburner is modular and can have it's pots secured to it, the reactor cannot.
