This won't work with any footage with people in it. Actually, there was an instrument to remove casts and correct white balance since film days, and it's called printer lights, available in DR and any proper color suite software. Printer lights let you remove color casts with a simple click of one numpad button.

idk i use printer lights in davinci resolve, but if i need quick fix in AE i just use CC Color Neutraliser
