Thanks for posting some honest performance of these tracks. It's great to see some footage of what it can't do! Very useful video for me and the type of snow I plan to run this on.
Glad to hear the video helped. The track certainly have limitations to their capabilities. When playing in deeper snow, getting stuck is inevitable. Crawling that line of possible vs not possible is where I find my enjoyment
Just by the nature of their design the tread will slip on the wheel cogs. The deep terrain Trax will slip if the get jammed against/under something immobile beneath the snow. Also if the snow is sticky it will be more prone to filling up the wheel cogs. It is imperative that the rig be left outside to reach ambient air Temps before hitting the snow. This helps prevent icing.

Yes, I bought the trx4 sport kit and built the truck. The body comes clear.

No, the Track mechanism itself is quite heavy.
