The Birthing of Iosepa, 2 of 6, Voyaging Canoe Documentary and Video

Director Daniel Skaf of www.HawaiiVideo... directed "The Birthing of Iosepa", a documentary about the building of a 57' double-hulled Hawaiian voyaging canoe. It won prizes and participated in numerous film festivals such as Hawaii International Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Gloria Film Festival and others.

I was that little blondie kid in the 70s going to see the old man carving a canoe at Honaunau when my mom was paddling for Keoua CC. He was always grumpy, but he let me watch.
