This is EXTREMELY good. It really doesn't look like a base game house at all and it has sooo much character. The bump out with the windows at the front... Top tier
I’m gushing at the curves of this house. And it’s freaken base game?!? Amazing! And yes! I had a playroom that was an extra bedroom in the basement of our house...it flooded once and my younger self was so devastated “save the toys!!”
I always start with the bathrooms, not because they're my favorite, but b/c they're smaller and you know what goes in them (toilet, sink, shower, tub) ,, I do kitchens second for the same reason, there's a set array of objects that you can put in there, counters, cabinets, appliances, etc
We had a playroom in my childhood!! There was a pool table , books , toys , and a futon in the corner. I had 3 other siblings so there was a LOT of stuff
I love every build that you do, but I like the base game ones the best because you make it available to everyone. I have a few packs so I normally have to download base game builds or build something myself so these are really helpful! Thank you 💕
Our playroom was just the living room. We had a separate 'family room' that the adults used to watch TV and stuff. But the living room was full of the kids stuff. There was a little archway in the corner that connected them, and we used to put the christmas tree there. It was super cute
I appreciate seeing some of the back-and-forth you go through during a build. I am horribly indecisive in my builds and it's nice to see how others deal with it. My favorite room to decorate is a nursery.
I LOVE the custom windows! So creative and I would never in a million years think to do that. Now that we can stack windows the possibilities are endless. This definitely doesn't look base game which is so impressive.
Changing your mind over and over, trying out every swatch and then every swatch again... I don't know about anyone else but I find that extremely relatable! 😂 ps. The end result looks great! 💕
I actually like watching the process of what you decide to use. Sometimws you consider an objects I forgot we had, and it also just feels relatable. Like I'm not the only who struggles to find something I like for a room.
I actually Love decorating bathrooms. I try to always start with them. They're small and can help me get a sense of a sim's personality before having to decorate the rest of the house.
I’m am the EXACT same I get so indecisive when building... and really anything lol! Also I do the same thing when referencing things from 2019 thinking that was last year... 2020 is so memorable yet went by so fast! haha! 💕
This is the first build I’ve even downloaded from the gallery and placed in my world! I love it so much and I’m honestly inspired to try building again
I like building bathrooms and kitchens! I think I like bathrooms because I can create really light and airy ones, which I wish my bathrooms were like! Kitchens are just so fun because of parenthood lol
Oh man. I totally feel that struggle with the concrete path you used out front. I love 3 wide stairs and doors....but that floor doesn't. Loved the build!!!!
You are not alone. I am super indecisive as well. Mostly with a room color and roofing. 😣 To answer the childhood question, my parents would put a movie on, Disney ones and others, that I would be glued to so they could do chores or cook or talk with somebody on the phone. I was an only child for 8 years.
my mom used to turn on elmo's world to watch all our heads turn in unison to the TV screen lol... loved the build!!!! your base game builds are always super rad!!
I do have a similar story! When I was maybe three or four-years-old my parents where in the middle of a home renovation and needed to get me out of the way, because, well. Little kids and power tools don't really mix, xD So I would watch Peter Pan in a loop in the living room and they would get an hour and a half of time to work before I would come fetch them to press play again.
I was there for the stream! The indecisiveness is definitely relatable and honestly rather comforting that your designs aren't perfect on the very first try 🙈🤣 because the end result is always perfection!
I know that many people will make many different requests, but I would like to ask you to do a build or A TINY HOUSE with seasons, get together, cats and dogs, vampires, vintage glamour, eco lifestyle.... LOVE ALL OF YOUR BUILDS :)
Idea for basegame house: A modern gothic house :) I really like to make those kinds of houses. It's a bit challenging with basegame, but definitely possible. I think you could pull it off!
Hey Tonya! Great build, as always... I know you don't often do challenges, but I got an idea the other day. It is to build a house with a floorplan, but unfurnished. Then, put the different types of rooms on a wheel and spin it to determine how you furnish each room. I, myself, got a bathroom right as you walk in through the front door and a living room in a 3×2 space🙈 Anyway, I thought you might like giving that a go. Thank you for the great content!
I have a really terrible habit of making my houses pretty generic and not cluttered, then BAM! The bedrooms are so crazy full of personality, especially kids room lol 😂
Bathrooms are my favorite to decorate ahahaha. Something in my brain tells me that a nice bathroom is the height of luxury lol. I just feel like you can tell a lot about the character and value of a home from a bathroom! My second favorite room to decorate is the kitchen, for the same reason :3 I love the shape and colors you used for this build!
Kitchen or living room I usually decorate first. Most of the time it ends of being the kitchen cause I know what I want to put in the kitchen. Yup the sunroom in the house I grew up in was the playroom. It had our toy box and other toys in the room. Also it was cold in the winter cause the radiator didn’t work and in the summer it was hot as heck cause of the seven windows in the windows. Had to watch Barney cause my sister was into watching it when she was little. I loved dinosaurs as a kid but not Barney at all.
You could do a country style or a modern ranch in maybe oasis springs. Just built one recently with base game and it was pretty fun. Lovely build as always btw
I had a playroom growing up! My dad built these really cool built in shelves along one wall and my sister and I would empty everything from them so we could turn each cube into barbie apartments 😂 My mom was not amused 😂😂
I LOVEEEEE THIS!!! PLEASE build a beach house on stilts with carport underneath !!! Pleaseeee!!!! I know I keep asking you but I REALLY want a 🏡 like mine at home. Carolina Beach ⛱ , North Carolina!!!!
Oh, I super feel the year thing. I'm super based around the academic year so I keep thinking 'last fall I was super sick' and I mean fall of 2019 not of 2020...fall of 2020 is this year still
Tonya I didn't have a playroom as a kid I just had a designated play area because my room was the whole upstairs attic space. not to brag or anything. 😂😁🤣
We didn't have a play room so much as a corner of the basement next to my dad's office. In retrospect I simply Do Not Know how he got anything done with my siblings and I having our complicated plots with My Little Pony's and Littlest Pet Shop... But also to the barney comment- My dad talks about when he was working on his PHD Thesis and my oldest sibling was a toddler he would set her in front of the TV with Sesame Street on so he could work.
i had a playroom with a four ft dollhouse and a detachable ski resort... when you’re an only child and have to entertain yourself your parents kind of go crazy 😂
My house had two living room areas but when we moved in my parents were broke, pregnant and dealing with toddler me so since they didn’t want to look at my millions of toys (my grandparents spoiled me) they stuck a couple of ikea bookshelves in the second living area and made it a play room
When I was a kid we lived in a duplex and there was a landing between the shared basement and the stairs that led to our neighbor's apartment, and my mom set up a playroom for us out there. I attempted to build that house a little while ago but I gave up because there was no wallpaper that looked anything like the strange mauve shingles on the outside of the house, and I couldn't figure out how to add windows to the basement and how to use platforms to get the weird levels of the house right. Someday...
i would love it if one day could you make an apartment with a grieving dad and his toddler daughter. they have just lost the mum and don’t have much money. the apartment has some furniture from their old house and some they had to buy (like cheaper cabinets etc)!! i love ur channel and your streams and i cannot wait to watch this video it looks so cute!!
I thought that you were doing that! Lol why do you overlap the cabinets in the corner instead of just using the corner cabinet? To each his own but I think it looks weird lol.
This is EXTREMELY good. It really doesn't look like a base game house at all and it has sooo much character. The bump out with the windows at the front... Top tier

I actually really like playing around with the layout of bathrooms. The colours in this house are very calming. I can't believe it's just basegame!
I think it's Base Game and Parenthood, although I could have imagined her saying the 2nd pack for sure, lol.
@@elizabethhannah6836 it’s just base game !! :)
We had a playroom in my childhood!! There was a pool table , books , toys , and a futon in the corner. I had 3 other siblings so there was a LOT of stuff
You should do a party house. For like adult sims who like to host often. Maybe like a basement pool table and some cute bar setups!
I actually really enjoy doing the bathrooms
I love every build that you do, but I like the base game ones the best because you make it available to everyone. I have a few packs so I normally have to download base game builds or build something myself so these are really helpful! Thank you 💕

I enjoy furnishing "hobby rooms" like paint studios and stuff :)
Oh, why can't I do this? So creative - as always - and truly attractive! Thanks!!
You should try filtering by "style" and you have to use all the items tagged with a specific style
What a unique build. What was it, if a barn and a cottage had a baby? This is definitely one I'd like to play in. Thanks!!
Ahhh my heart is going to explode from cute and coziness! And lol a bucket, same.
That glass roof is my favorite one 😅
And yes, 2019 and 2020 has been a blur to me as well. 2018 happened and then 2019 through 2020 just seemed one whole long freaking year....
The front yard is gorgeous 😍
I really like this house, just woww
I actually like watching the process of what you decide to use. Sometimws you consider an objects I forgot we had, and it also just feels relatable. Like I'm not the only who struggles to find something I like for a room.

Ohh a base game home! I could never😆
I have never been so early and I am so excited!
aw!

hello, i cant believe im so early! Hope the people that see this are having a good day/night 💕
haha early indeed! Hope you are having a lovely day/night! ❤
@@Gryphi I really appreciate that you replied, I really enjoy your content and I'm having a very nice day 💖
What time do you have now?

Wow, your builds are always so great! Love it!
Oh man. I totally feel that struggle with the concrete path you used out front. I love 3 wide stairs and doors....but that floor doesn't.
Loved the build!!!!
I love this and I’m usually not a huge fan of base game only builds! I would love to see this renovated with packs too!
You are not alone. I am super indecisive as well. This house is so cute, I really love it! I almost can't believe it's just basegame
Your cottage builds are always my favourites!
Watching you do the roofs is so inspiring, I am SO BAD at roofs but this makes me feel like maybe I can do it 😅
I was there for the stream! The indecisiveness is definitely relatable and honestly rather comforting that your designs aren't perfect on the very first try 🙈🤣 because the end result is always perfection!

I love this style!! You should try a build where you lay out the rooms based on the "objects by room" tab in buy mode!
Amazing home I love it!! Also my favorite rooms to decorate are bedrooms, I love making them so unique and lived in with lots of personality
This is so beautiful! I find your videos so relaxing to watch even though I still be here with my box houses
Love your kitchen designs & kids beds bedrooms.
I did have a playroom- So many weird and wonderful memories!!
Idea for basegame house: A modern gothic house :) I really like to make those kinds of houses. It's a bit challenging with basegame, but definitely possible. I think you could pull it off!
I love this house soo much!! It is my style house on the exterior, just soo pretty!!
My jaw dropped when you said this was base game only!! Its amazing!

This is adorable!! I'm in love with the sun room/art studio!
I love the roof pieces in this build btw!!!
Love the build. I would love to see a Mediterranean base game home
This house gives me major "Bewitched" vibes. I could totally see a Sim version of the characters from the TV show living here.
omg yes I love this
This is a amazons house! Never stop with what you do ❤️
oooh could you do a beauty influencer home with a really bougie bathroom where they'd film their skincare routines and take bubble bath photos?! plzzz
Bathrooms are my favorite to decorate ahahaha. Something in my brain tells me that a nice bathroom is the height of luxury lol. I just feel like you can tell a lot about the character and value of a home from a bathroom! My second favorite room to decorate is the kitchen, for the same reason :3

Maybe you can make midcentury base game? Maybe it can be pretty cheap (or look cheap) and for a big family?
Wow as always this is amazing I love how you made the custom window at the top
This is so beautiful! I love the windows on the bay on the front so much! You are so clever!

Probably the Snowy Escape kids art/crafting table..

This is so adorable!!!
THE DISHWASHER THAT INSPIRED THE TWEET? iconic
haha YES
Such a cute build!
Can't wait to download this and play in it! 💛
“A cottage and a barn had a baby.”

This is so cute!
Omg Its super cute i want to live there 🥰💖

Maybe you could make a mid size house with a luxurious bathroom like a luxury med home
were you referring to Snowy Escape or Eco Lifestyle when you said you liked the kid’s crafting tables?
We had a huge space in the basement we called the "recroom" which was a combination of playroom and gameroom but yeah it was a lego nightmare
this is so cute!
Thank you!
If you still did not know, there is a mod for the cas and it is a color wheel !!
I have a quick question so you use the cheat bb.moveojects, does that mean I have to use this cheat before I place the lot in my Sims game
Perhaps you could build a modern home in the shape of a victorian? Like, build a victorian shell, but make it modern...
Can you do a larger suburban home with base game?
Also how do you manage to make an ugly rug (the swirly one in the hallway) look so good!
i would love it if one day could you make an apartment with a grieving dad and his toddler daughter. they have just lost the mum and don’t have much money. the apartment has some furniture from their old house and some they had to buy (like cheaper cabinets etc)!! i love ur channel and your streams and i cannot wait to watch this video it looks so cute!!

I don't like the lighting on the corner cabinets and prefer the look :)
since i was born in the early 60s, i had an old fashioned playroom...it was called outside lol
Day five of requesting a renovated shady warehouse for a runaway teen 🙆🏻♀️
Awesome build as always
Are you going to just keep asking until you wear her down? Good luck!
sooo you just built my dream home? alright then.
I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS BASEGAME UNTIL U SAID SOMETHING
Hiii Tonyaaaaa :))) Also this is soo cute!
Thank you!!
