Inside the apartment and studio of sculptor Katharina Kaminski in Paris | Une Fille, Un Style

Katharina Kaminski, who was born in Uruguay in 1994 and now lives in Paris, creates sculptures and installations, approaching her creative practice as a journey through her body and mind. Somewhere between surrealism and abstraction, her works explore the strangeness of form and come to life through her intuition, giving a tangible voice to her subconscious. The artist works in ceramics, marble, and bronze, in a variety of scales and forms, and recently presented her first solo exhibition, Womb, whose name refers to the female reproductive organ that the artist was born without. Scientifically considered an intersex person, Katharina Kaminski seeks to question the limits of fertility, turning her attention to the legend of creation and the forces of nature that make human beings creators. Like her work, her style and her apartment are orchestrated organically and change according to her whims, always with the central theme of minimalism.

It must be a hard life or at least a little confusing at the beginning for the people who are born with androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS) but she identifies herself as woman and she is very pretty and a nice one, she also has elegance. Making sculpture is not simple as it looks, sculptors deserve more appreciation. Also I like her idea regarding fertility, art and creating things I think the same as having baby in some ways.

Her sculptures are very open and vulnerable almost like the womb she does not have. I am glad for her that she is centured in herself and not for a moment is she anything else but a woman. Many people now try so hard to do what she does effortlessly.
One reason that people push their ideas in this upon others is because they cannot convince themselves. Unhappy men seek validation of labels annd wear being a woman as a costume

She's clearly not Uruguayan. She is like people whose great-grandparents settled in France, changed their name and sometimes even their religion and who today say that they are French even though physically they are nothing like a French person.Her mother isn't Brazilian either. It's like the Bundchens. They settled in Latin America a few decades ago. We see the Uruguayan women in the Miss World and Miss Universe competitions.
She was just born and raised in Uruguay.
