The sun slanted through the dusty windows of Red, White and Blue Thrift, illuminating a world of forgotten wonders. Although I sifted through racks of wallets, it was the jewelry section that held the true magic!
There, nestled among tarnished brooches and mismatched earrings, I discovered it: a genuine amethyst and jade necklace, along with pearl, red coral and turquoise necklaces. Their stones glimmered like secrets from another era, their colors dancing in the light. I placed these gems in my cart, imagining the stories they could tell.
But the surprises didn’t end there. Along the great wall of purses, I discovered a vintage Coach Waverly worth hundreds! Also, in the home goods aisle, a valuable mid-century modern Sergio Bustamante brass goose planter stood proudly! Its sleek lines and whimsical design hinted at midday martinis and jazz-filled evenings. I couldn’t resist-it was a piece of art waiting to be reborn so I bought it!

I have a brown vintage coach like the black one you picked up. I have had it for more than 30 years. It is still beautiful.

The tiger eye necklace is everything. I love the all the necklaces you picked out. Henri Bendel is nice. I’m obsessed with every piece of jewelry you showed! Especially the rings. You have an amazing eye for beautiful quality items. My grandmother had a huge collection of Knick knacks and doo dads I used to love playing with as a child. I think that’s why I love them so much.
