This is my favorite type of video. You are showing everyone that ANYONE can do this. I see these items in my thrift everyday all day but do not pick them up (I do not know much about men's sweatshirt or sports at this point and would probably give up looking) but when you have knowledge about the items you can find so much to sell! I really need to start looking everything up and not relying on the knowledge I have already because it is limited. Thank you!
Study every night the ebay actives & comps so you can go out to the thrift with all your knowledge and you won't have to look anything up. Keep learning!
I'm just now getting back into selling & my plan is to go full time. I've got a lot of old stuff to relist or get rid of. Thanks for all the info so will know what to watch out for.
Ok I woke up today and was considering going to Sarasota tomorrow and getting out of the Tampa area for thrifting. You sold me on it. Driving down tomorrow
Hi Tech! I live in the Tampa Area and have to travel to my doctos in the Bradenton area almost a hour each way everytime and used to hate it. Lets just say after I saw this video I couldn't wait to go to the doctors (and get out lol). Found some amazing deals!! Thank you so much for sharing.
I love this style of video. I see VT stuff all the time in my area. I have seen tons of these types of shirts in my thrift. I need to do some homework and get our there is get this stuff. Man this video was eye opening.
Yo tech, when i was visiting Florida last November, i hit up American Thrift in WPB and closer to your area. I had TONS of great pickups from all 4 of the stores. Jerseys, tees, sweater, you name it. Tons and tons of great pickups and no crap condition either. Most stuff was new or near new.
That one opened after I stopped thrifting and moved to a rag house model during the shut down. Every time I drive past it the line looks like Disney world. lol. American Thrift has a couple in my neck of the woods I've been to hundreds of times, they are always solid.
@technsports yeah you can't beat them! Last November I was thrifting practically daily and I found them to be the best. I didn't have much success at Goodwill's or Salvation Army. Next trip back home im gonna hit up the bins in Lake Worth. I promised myself I'd go last time, but with all the horror stories I heard about the bins I didn't wanna deal with it haha. But def gonna hit flea markets and garage sales too next time. I found the American Thrift in Hollywood to be the better of the 2 in your area. I only went once with my mom but I walked out with a stack of great pieces. The one in Lauderhill was ok. That one had a whole floor dedicated to furniture if I remember correctly.
Good afternoon, Tech. I hope all is well. I LOVE your content and all that it provides. I am a bins shopper (primarily) and seem to have no luck selling the hats that I find. I see you buying TONS of hats all of the time and was wondering if you could make a video at some point going over hats (what to look for, how you do the photograpy, keywords, etc.). II also pick up ties when I find them because they cost pennies and make dollars. Could you provide some info on ties at some point as well? Have an amazing day, my friend and thank you for all that you do.
I never have had luck finding hats at that scale and I guess because im not a hat person - I can't believe what people pay for them. a shirt for $20 but $25 for a hat - crazy world . But as I hit the roads to good thrift stores I will seek some out. I have video coming out with some thrift finds. Ok see you again Tech.
Love that you talk to your audience as if every single one of us is a reseller. "Know your audience" was always obvious but you pinned that into my brain a few years ago. Salvos is the best chain in Georgia by a long shot. Goodwill is ol' faithful but twice the price and the service ain't nice.
Same for me down here where I live. Goodwill is ol' faithful, Salvation Army rarely fails around the Miami area. Thanks for checking out the video Michael I appreciate it!
Hey Tech I love the vids, I recently went to the thrift and found a The Game Big Logo Yankees Hat and have no idea what the cost is. I am the only one the market at the moment do you have any idea? Thank you so much for all you do and the inspiration and knowledge you provide.
If you have all the knowledge you just need all the opportunities which had been the secret to the success. I have the knowledge & give myself the most opportunities
Another Fantasic video!! Thank you!! Hey Tech, will you kindly do a quick video where you show us how you how you used to study the actives & comps? Just one example would be helpful. I'm a rookie and I'm not sure how to even find the actives.
Great content, what people should instantly take note of is the fact that the items are all every day, working to leisure wear items. No tee shirts. You have to think like a buyer and not necessarily in your style, but as someone looking to add to their work wear/leisure wear look. Thank you sir. Blessings
Hey Tech, great information as always! I know you wash all clothing that you source, but do you wash all hats too? I seem to recall from the group your tip that they need to be removed from the wash immediately so they go back into shape properly. Which sort of answers my second question, how do you wash them, dishwasher or washing machine? But I'm primarily interested if you wash ALL caps as a rule. Thanks!
I want to start reselling. Do you ever have days where you dont find anything or less and feel like so may people resell and there isnt enough for everyone ? Im trying to start learning clothes and feel that way sometimes like its already all gone by the time i get there.
There is plenty for everyone, especially in the united states of America. If starts off slowly, but as you study, increase your brand knowledge with research the items magically pop up.
Heading to SRQ 1/19 for a week… hope you didn’t dry everything up! Lol - I bring an empty golf travel bag and load it up to bring back to MKE. Love the MANY SRQ stores.
I love my Salvation Army in Miami. They love me too. They know me there so give me great discounts without ever asking. I think they like me since I come in every week and chat with them while I shop. I have been to that red white and blue in Hialeah and it’s got lots of dolphins uniforms donated plus other goodies. I am not really into sports but did pick up some sports clothes just because it was so cheap and plentiful. They also get lots of Macys overstock. I have done well with their retail arbitrage doing one listing and selling multiple on various platforms of women’s sun dresses. I have a beach boutique so that fits my niche better than sports but I will sell local sports teams if it makes sense. Thanks for the video. 🥰
It's not easy but the more knowledge and more opportunities you have the easier it gets but it's still work & effort to find the stuff. In every single video I've put out I'm going to multiple stores every single day, waking up before the sun to go to flea market and then go to stores.
No its a serious hustle, thats why people don't last. Interesting seeing what you take. I for sure have learned more of what to look for watching all your videos@@technsports
@technsports idk tech. I googled thrift stores in Miami and found a bunch of one offs. They could all be junk, I don't live there, so i dont know. Arizona has a bunch of little hidden gems.
Excellent work! Both informative and entertaining. Could you do a video about the different names of the Ralph Lauren Polo shirt materials such as mesh, pique, etc., and the different logos; Bleeker, Polo Bear, Small Pony, & Big Pony. Please and Thank You.
We have one Red White & Blue Thrift Store in Connecticut and it's about 30 minutes from me. After seeing all the shirts you picked out, I will be heading there this week! I have plenty of Goodwills and Salvation Army's near me, but it's time for a change! Thanks for all your valuable information!
Coach bag right above those hats, Tech doing it again and thanks for the inspiration keep them coming say's "yeah we got 50k listings" I don't even think the guy heard you or blinked someone told me 50k listings I would have questions after I got off the floor lol
I don't buy or sell Coach personally. They are a very aggressive brand and there are lots of fakes. Others sell it and do well, for me, my risk tolerance is way too high
Great way to start the week. What you do makes logical sense. How long did it take when you first started before you had that "moment" where everything clicked and you knew this would be a money-making machine?
The very first sale I did. I bought a used T-Mobile Sidekick on Craigslist for $35 and sold it on eBay within an hour for $70. There were many more T-Mobile Sidekicks on Craigslist for under $50, so I grabbed two more for $35 each and they both sold the same day. I was off to the races.

Love these videos! I’m in ne FL area on the coast and we have golf shirts and fishing shirts galore. Not always big name brands, but thought I might be able to bundle them.
Yes & no. When my listing goal was less aggressive 20, 30, 50 a day I was more choosier when my listing goal was 120 - 250 a day my items that fit my metric grew larger as my business model evolved
We have one Red White and Blue in our state and it's a crazy place. Lots of good stuff come through there I run into all my reseller acquaintances there. It's like a hangout. Plenty for all
Damn bro, amazing eye and awesome pickups.I just recently found 2500 worth of items in 4 days in goodwill, theres definitely stuff to be found out there 💪🔥
Unrelated but….Can somebody explain to me the difference or what exactly I’m looking at please. When I view my eBay financial statement for one month it says one number for orders and then when I view my sales report for the same month it says another number for total sales. So which one am I supposed to be using when calculating my total sales for the year? Do the words orders and total sales have two different meanings that I’m unaware of? The sales report does include taxes in the total sales number but when I subtract it they still don’t add up so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
@@technsports sorry I didn’t mean quantity wise, but $$$ wise the difference between orders and total sales with the financial report vs the sales report?
Thank you for watching? What is your favorite thrift store chain in your area?

Hi haul, did you say that the Red, white and Blue thrift is in Bradenton?
It's in Sarasota / Bradenton area. I don't know exactly where, I'm not from that area! Look for that green thrift and it's right next door
@technsports I will definitely take that drive because the one I have over here charges a lot. I was shocked at the prices you were saying. Thanks
Go Hokies!
Go!
Tech, we need some merch
My wife's sister made me some that I wore in the podcasts. Maybe I can get here to make a couple
Dang AZ goodwills are just to expensive these days I’m not seeing anything below 9.99 for men’s clothing
We have that by my house too. This still was 3-4 hours from my house. But got to go where the money is
we are going to be in Sarasota in March. What are the name of the thrift stores there?
I'm not sure of the exact names & locations I was visiting as well. It's 3-4 hours from my house as well. I'm not familiar with the area
Love these videos! I’m in ne FL area on the coast and we have golf shirts and fishing shirts galore. Not always big name brands, but thought I might be able to bundle them.
Nice! If it works make the money!
Do you wash/clean hats?
Yes!
Another great vid, when are you coming to the UK? 😅
Hopefully very soon!
Murdered that thrift trip Tech!
I'd go there every day if it was in my neighborhood. Prices were right
Every video I learn new things and brands! Appreciated our chat today. Can’t wait to show you my growth this year
Looking forward to it mate!
Do you stay away from certain sizes no matter the brand?
Yes & no. When my listing goal was less aggressive 20, 30, 50 a day I was more choosier when my listing goal was 120 - 250 a day my items that fit my metric grew larger as my business model evolved
Bread and butter all day!
Pays the bills & scales a business!
What an amazing haul!
Great store, I wish I lived closer, I'd go every day
🐐
Hey JD! Hope you're having a great week
We have one Red White and Blue in our state and it's a crazy place. Lots of good stuff come through there I run into all my reseller acquaintances there. It's like a hangout. Plenty for all
Yeah a few other people had carts as big as mine & they were bringing out tons of new racks non stop
Absolutely love the siesta key/ Anna Marie island. My girl and I have hit well on some yard sales and goodwill! Can’t wait to move there one day
It's a very beautiful area. One of the most beautiful places in the world
is red white and blue in Sarasota?
They have some in the area. Check out Google maps
Appreciate your content. I just can't believe how many hats must be bought everyday off of eBay!??
Hats are like everything, hit and miss. Some are good worth listing, some are not. All depends.
Damn bro, amazing eye and awesome pickups.I just recently found 2500 worth of items in 4 days in goodwill, theres definitely stuff to be found out there 💪🔥
It's everywhere!
Thanks
Orders are transactions. If somebody purchases 5 things that's 1 order & one transaction. But that's 5 items sold.
@@technsports sorry I didn’t mean quantity wise, but $$$ wise the difference between orders and total sales with the financial report vs the sales report?
