I try to implement the D'Alembert system to trading as a risk management tool , as a comment said below : "buy in 500 times minimum" , that would be in trading 0.2% of your capital per trade as you start for your unit

What do you do if you hit the betting limit? Stay at the top or decrease by 2 units?

Nice video I think with dalembert key is bankroll, here you had $500 to start and bought in for another $500, but your bet only got to about 8 unit then you were out of money so thr system showed a loss based on having enough bankroll but you very well could have recovered at least profiting 1 unit before starting system over again, I usually buy in 500 times minimum bet so for a $25 minimum, my buy in would be $12500, would be almost impossible not to profit 1 unit and then start system over again

Wow 500x your minimum bet would be crazy! It would be so hard to only be betting $25 when you have that much money lol. But I guess that's all part of the casinos plan haha. They know we're all greedy lol

I wonder if it would be good to establish a rule with yourself to revert back to a base bet if you lose X number of 4 unit hands in a row. Once you get towards the end of your bankroll the repeated high loses really kill you and you can't chase back from them. I'm still in favor of the reverse (positive) system because it seems to work more often for me and dampens the long losing streak hits.

Yeah definitely. I usually go with enough to lose 7 hands in a row (not counting losing any doubles or splits) and if I lose it all, just take my losses haha. I have a part 2 still coming out of the D'Alembert vs the Reverse D'Alembert! Will be out this Friday Jan. 1st!

Unless you have a great shoe that has a lot of double downs and splits flat betting in the long run doesn't work because of the house advantage.
