Thanks for the tutorial. However, I’m lost. Some of the steps you mention, I cannot locate on the Automator. My Mac is running OS Catalina 10.15.7. Maybe I need to locate a newer tutorial. Are you available for trouble shooting?

Best video I have seen about the use of automater, I was wondering .
I have been trying to use automater to setup thunderbird , meaning I want to be able to high light a file or files and create a service to be able to create an email in thunderbird email app.
But I do t know how to do it , seems a little confusing .

Any tips on how to schedule and automatically download live financial data from a website using Automator into either Google Sheets, Libre Office, Open Office or Excel?
I need a little help, It's been awhile since I needed automator. I want to Open one specific video file and want to specify which application it opens with. I'm currently using Find Finder Items and Open Finder Items - VLC opens but the video doesn't play. Thanks!
