Hi my name is Kay. I enjoy your ideas so very much. Seeing you use hot glue and knowing how easy a person can burn themselves...I started using a little paint brush from my mod podge that has bristles that are a little stiff. This brush works for many small projects. Thank you for you little tips along the way. Hope the paint brush works for you. Take care and Happy Holidays!
I am headed to my craft room now. I am going to binge watch your videos. You inspire me so much to get busy. Your enthusiasm is so contagious! Thank you
Whoa how awesome this was. I LOVE Harry Potter. You made this so easy that I want to try it myself. I LOVE gnomes but have been scared to try. I'm a grandma and my vision isn't too good. But I want to try.Ty ty ty for making this budget friendly too. AM happy dancing in my head Lol
I made my first one today using your template and I am very pleased with it, however I seemed to have a lot of brim left over once I got back to the starting point of fixing it on, I had to trim off about 3 inches, thanks for sharing
New subscriber - so glad I found you - making hats for my gnomes has always been difficult- your pattern and instructions are just what I needed - thank you 🦋🇨🇦
Hi! How are you. I have tried to print the templates of your tutorials, such as shoes, hats, angel wings, and for some reason I cannot do it or they come out miniature or very large that take up many pages and cannot be cut. What am I doing wrong? I think that if you give the measurements that the templates have, they can be done or I can personally do them. By the way, I love your tutorials, they are very clear, easy to understand and some are very funny, especially the ones that are live, with your husband. Thanks and take care.🤩
Good to know. We will work on better instructions for the templates directly on my blog today. Check back tomorrow and try again. I’m so sorry they aren’t working for you. We will get it figured out for sure.
There is a link in the description. Just click on the link and it will redirect you to the blog post that has the template. Let me know if you need additional instructions. Have a great day!
Hi Marie! Thank you so much for watching. It's on my blog, but here is the link! fiveorlesssteps.blogspot.com/2022/03/template-for-no-sew-pointed-gnome-hats.html
Thanks for watching! You can try cutting more off the bottom of the cone, that will make it shorter, but it will also make it smaller to better match the brim.

I used the pattern for this brimmed hat and the center opening for the brim was way too large :( wasted an entire sheet of felt because it didn't fit the actual hat part :(

Amy have you ever done a gnome with a boating theme. I have been asked to do one and was checking to see if you had any ideas. Please and thank you!
I have not, but that sounds very fun! I will have to put on my thinking cap, or Captain's hat in this case. I love the idea!
I have never been on a blog. Could you tell me how to go to your blog.
Really enjoyed the direction, and want to try ..

Hi, your template for the hat on your blog is giant size. Not sure how to scale it down. Thank you
Some times, depending on the download, it can be too big. Here is instructions on reducing the size: www.makeuseof.com/how-to-reduce-jpeg-file-size/
Where is templet? I've looked all over, it isn't there.
