I’m a cook at a restaurant and I know exactly what you’re talking about with the quality control when that particular establishment is very busy. The kitchen could be a little short staffed today, maybe one of the other cooks called in sick and they couldn’t find anyone to cover his shift so maybe some of the other cooks are having to work multiple stations ect…. You’re absolutely not wrong for reporting the mistakes that that establishment made and even with the mistakes that you called out, you still enjoyed the food and gave great scores. I love your videos ❤
There’s this Chinese restaurant I eat at every Friday. Food is hot and fresh every time. They never miss. One day I went when they were super busy and the food literally tasted like I ate a whole different restaurant . It was disgusting. But yeah your statement stands correct bruh
I find Outback trying to hang in there with their quality while so many of these sit down places are slipping and not what they used to be. Which I think is why you are starting to see so many of them starting to go under like Red Lobster is doing right now. My family used to visit Red Lobster at least twice a month when I was a kid. I think its been 5 years now since any of even visited one just because of bad experiences.

As someone who knows franchise restaurants workings. Corporate in most franchises have gotten rid of the position of expediter. This position is now front of house managers position on top of what they already did. It is not working for the small salary position they cut. The front of the house manager is now overwhelmed and they are getting up and quitting. The new dual position front house manager and expediter is done without any advancement in pay. 😡

That is legit the only item on the menu that is better than any of their competitors. I have been highly disappointed with that chain. Tried it in Ohio and Florida and both were equally mid.

Outback is always 🔥🔥🔥 But the best Outback is in Edgewater. Everytime I went there the food came out perfect. Also the bread with the honey butter is 🔥🔥🔥
My Dad traveled for work and had outside food alot. He would come home and have a plain dinner and roll, simple salad and liked it so much more. All the fake spice and salt , excessive butter gets to you if you eat regularly.

That location is always packed. A friend of mine who has been an executive chef at a few upscale steakhouses in NYC actually takes his family there fairly regularly. He says that particular location is actually quite good as they prepare the steaks pretty consistently well there. I’m sure it helps he’s gotten to know the steak chefs and manager also lol, but he says it doesn’t make a difference.

outback has been one of my faves as well. It definitely has changed over the years but it still remains at the top for me. I miss the parmesan chicken. I worked there as a host in like 2010 lmao but I also cooked in the kitchen for 3 years back in 2017. the funniest thing though they seem to forget to sauce my wings more often than not.

You order and pay for something, you deserve to get it. Easy as that. I go back to chain spots all the time, example McDonald's "bacon cajun ranch McCrispy" or whatever it's called...good sandwich in my opinion but here in Delaware there's a specific location that always forgets the bacon....it's literally the first word lol I'm not leaving without the bacon

I LOVE their alice springs chicken and herb roasted prime rib. But the quality of the one here in my town has dropped dramatically so I have not been in a long time now.
I tend to go to Longhorn because I'm on a limited budget and they're a little cheaper lol. I really like them though.
I've learned I like my ribeye cooked medium. I was always a rare to mid rare guy, but to get that fat content to render, medium is perfect and juicy. A leaner cut like strip or filet, mid rare all day.

I understand it's a franchise/location by location thing and most of your food looked really tasty, but Outback by me is pretty bad. few months ago i got fried chicken and a filet mignon to go, the steak was overcooked (i always ask for med-mostly rare, but it was gray in the middle), but it was at least edible. However the chicken was cold. like no joke, cold. it felt like they took leftover fried chicken out of a fridge and forgot to reheat it before bagging it up for me.

Every single outback Ive been to is HOT garboni bruh. Straight trash. So I envy you lmao Ruth was nice though in my area. I’ve eaten it a couple times in another state, but the price point is kinda wack. Chain steaks seem to be a way better bang for buck. I know there’s some folks who say the “experience” is worth it at fine dining, but nah that is some salt bae single digit IQ though process action. Anyways, point is, Texas RH will always be the goat imo for cheaper nice tasting steaks. I’d rather grill and smoke my own meat, but when I’m feelin lazy, Texas.

i cant do chain restaurants anymore they cost the same or more for a worse version of a product i can get at a local place. it never tastes bad but its also never worth it compared to other options

dude if you wanna do a boss review, get the outbacker burger well done with no lettuce tomato or onion, with bacon cheddar and a fried egg, it already comes with mustard and pickle, favorite burger of all time, and you also gotta get the chicken casadia with a side of there house made honey mustard, blooming onion obviously, tell them crispy, and a house salad with ranch. and if u want good sides, there loaded garlic mash, and yeah there ausie fries. some real good food
and there sirloin steak i like it well done with tell them 17 seasoning, its a special seasoning
oh ya and there wings are amazing too damn i love outback
Just got a pasta and steak dish from them and my noodles were undercooked. The ribeye or wings are the only thing worth ordering there imo.
