Finally a real light packer. Most of them are like they are moving to another country and taking all their belongings. Still don't get why you take a bivy and a tent? Only thing I'd change is going for slightly bigger sidebags and no backpack. I don't like wearing a backpack all day.
Pretty much what i pack. Only difference is i have a hammock instead of the bivy, and a tarp instead of a tent. After travelling for about 250k km on 2 Wheels, im a firm believer that LESS IS MORE. I also leave the stuffsacks at home, just stuff it 😄👍
Finally an Aussie that knows what the F is going on, I ride my Yamaha dt175 and carry about 15kgs with everything but the camera stuff, I'll have to get a bivvy bag but for keeping warm, I also have the camp master stove, exactly like jetboil, but cheaper K Mart. Thanks for sharing, I see so many bikers buying big adventure bikes just to carry their sh!t, then the bike becomes too heavy and can't pick it up or just hard to handle. They often laugh at my bike an probably me, buy hey at least I get to where I'm going and I've had a blast doing it. 🇦🇺🤘 I've subscribed
suggestion : take your fork seal cleaner off of that black holder and put it on the top of your fork just under the handlebar.. it stays there forever until you need it. no need to pack it loose.
Hi from Ingham, I ride a 19 excf 250 have clock up 80000km over the last 4years. I've used mosse tubs for the last 60000km with no problems. Will never go back to air tubs. If you contact me would be happy to show you some good tracks around Ingham.
Are you using the mousse tubes for highway riding? I was always under the impression that the heat destroyed them.. How do you manage to keep them alive?
Great to see someone else pack their sleep system this way. Been packing mine this way for years. 👍

I like having a tent to keep myself and gear out of the weather. The bivvy is just a shell to keep sleeping gear clean and myself warm.

Good stuff, similar weight and how I pack...I like the bivvy idea will give it a go 👍
Brother I ran mostly the same system, also on the 500 and it's really amazing. I think I was at 16-17kg without water.

Yes they go fine on the highway. The back one failed after 50000km. One section failed and it was bumpy to ride. The tyres actually last longer.
@@dadbosworth6838 how often do you add lube to them?
