Laned track certainly has its downfalls but to be able to shape it so dynamically due to the SR2 design and Russ Lasson, I feel this does have some charm of its own. This round was filled with outstanding speed performance, it's clear Le Blue and Zap are in another category in terms of driving ! They are just out of this world, and I'm dying to see them going face to face for the title ! It will be one hell of a race for sure !

@@theskyway I'm curious about the circuit, do you plan to do more tournaments on it? It seems tailor-made for supercars, and the curiosity is to know how other types of cars will behave in it. I don't see a 4x4 going down there! 😀
@@Kastanets_LKR Its a good question! It is definitely designed for Hyper, Super, and GT cars. Mainly those super low and wide premium hot wheels castings. We are about to do a Lamborghini Tournament, and then a GT tournament through TH-cam Shorts as we work on the new full, open lane track. So excited about that. Regular castings wouldn't and can't make it down the short circuit. It is designed to be 3mm wider than hot wheels track to accommodate the wider castings. Which means anything that rides narrow or too high or both, will get caught banging the walls all the way down until ultimately flying off. It was fun to make something so specific, but I sure look forward to getting back to open lane racing!
Always an astounding production here at the Skyway 👏 With each upload, my heart rate increases not just in anticipation of the top quality racing but also in concern for our drivers' safety. The Short Circuit course may be uniquely designed for these hyper cars but it also encourages drivers to push their machines right to the edge---and as we saw today, sometimes right over 😲😵💫 That's the price for glory on this track, a razor focus to skillfully ride the ragged edge of disaster all the way down to the finish, a quality sorely tested with each run!
Haha yes truly! I just love your visceral connection to the racing experience and the danger of the wickedly fast and a-symmetrical track. When these cars fly off, you know it’s because they’ve punched the accelerator and gamble everything for that first place win. Risking it all. That Pagani is so fast but sits a bit higher than the others, and is a touch more narrow. These are the qualities that increase the probability of disaster. It’d be great to see a fleet of Lambos take to the short circuit. Those low wide super cars might just thrive on the short circuit.
