    Damn girl you look GOOD! Your skin is glowing, your mood seems amazing, and you are toned/thin but not too skinny!! You always have a glow about you but you are looking better than ever!

    If you haven't tried the 'bedtime' function of the iPhone clock I highly recommend! The alarm is much more chill and gradually gets louder so it's a much more pleasant way to wake up in my opinion. It also reminds you to go to bed at the time you set.

      I actually have a Bon Iver song set as my morning alarm, so it's pretty chill haha. But that's a cool function!

    YESSSS to the set routine even on the weekends. it feels sooo good to be up in the morning on the weekends :) i find it's quieter (since everyone's asleep) and i get more peaceful me-time.

    YAY I'm so glad you made a morning routine video! I love waking up early, I feel like I have so much more time in the day! Starting the day with yoga is so fantastic as well. I feel like we're so similar and I love how positive and happy your channel is. SO much love

    I find people's morning routines really interesting too! I'm a bit late but here's mine:
    6:00AM - alarm rings, wake up
    6:15AM - *really* wake up haha. I keep my phone on airplane too, don't check it for a while.
    - drink 1L water
    - practice yoga (almost done with the 30 day Fightmaster challenge!)
    - read my Vision (one page of who I want to be/want to accomplish in life written as if I already have accomplished it all)
    - check my phone
    - take a shower
    - make breakfast & watch Good Mythical Morning
    - make a mug of matcha tea
    - write! (usually for class but sometimes for my thesis as well) :~)

    The last couple weeks I've been doing a quick meditation for the first 10 minutes of my morning. I think it has helped my focus for the rest of the day.

    It's going to be 1 pm and i wake up at 6:40 am go to the bathroom and wash my face, put on moisturizer, do my hair then just put on mascara. Then I eat my breakfast which it's either cereal w soy milk or a half a bagel or some type of bread and sometimes I have oatmeal (my fav) then I brush my teeth, chill. Once it's 7:30am i leave off to school (: that's my morning routine when I have school.
    Ps. You're one of the reasons why I've started eating healthier and am addicted to oatmeal hehe and also just to be a better human being and love myself more ❤️

    I cringed internally when I saw your alarm clock time! I got up at 4:15am for my job for two years but am naturally a late riser. It's hard getting up early when I don't go to bed til after 1 because of my current job. But I'm inspired to start my day a little earlier after this! Fun video, as always.

      Robin that's kinda how I am! I'd love to be in bed at 9:30, but I'm usually still at work then, which makes getting up at 5 very difficult 😭

      The restaurant life definitely does that to you! I hated working late because I still had to wake up early for class haha. 4:15 is impressive! Hope you are well Robin :)

    I'm gonna tell you a bit of a story! I was a competitive gymnast for 15 years of my life. Self love was never a thing... always pushing yourself to extreme limits that made you feel like crap, never being good enough etc. This state of mind stayed with me for a very long time and I still struggle with it now. I remember my first time taking a yoga class - the teacher kept saying to "listen to your body" I was like what? No I HAVE to push myself till pain. But that's not the case! Listening to your body, setting time aside for yourself is OK and having routines for self love is ok! I want to thank you for how inspiring you are and reminding me that it's ok to love every single ounce of you

    I never make my bed when I wake up lol I always prefer doing that before I go to bed. In the morning I NEED my coffee and I usually eat a big fruit bowl with toast. Then I go for a hike ( I live in the beautiful mountains of Alberta, Canada!). After that I get dressed, do my hair and blah blah blah. Grab a snack and my big bottle of water and head off to school.

    Incorporating a yoga practice into my daily routine is definitely a life changer for me! It makes me feel so much more in tune with my body, relaxed and grounded for the rest of the day and I feel more grateful too 🙏

    You get 10 things done before 8 am! I usually wake up aroud 10 and get ready really quickly and just have my coffee before heading out. I'm also a student. And not a morning person at all :D Your morning routine and other videos are so inspiring and organized haha :)

    You're just so cute and your routine is so on point. I want to start including yoga into my routine and this might just have been the motivation I needed. Also I used not tonne a morning person but I agree that since I have had a proper routine I have turned into one :)

    Yay for early mornings! I usually get up around 6, but love when my body wakes me up at 5:30. Also, just got a yoga app and am (hoping) i'll start using it soon haha. Your girl has gotten so inflexible and that needs to change!

    Beautifully done video :) I agree that when I go through periods with a set morning routine I feel better and fresher. I started waking up at 5.50am recently to get a gym session in before work, and it's made a world of difference. I've never been a morning person, and I still feel like death when I wake up in at that ridiculous time, but I feel great for the rest of the day, so that's something!

    You can just use do not disturb mode (the moon on the swipe up screen) and you notifications will come in when you unlock your phone and not turn your cell signal off

      Turning your cell signal off has also been shown to help you have improved sleep and better dreams at night!

      Hannah actually I think she meant that indirectly, seemingly because having the knowledge that your cell signal is off can give you the assurance that one disturbance is gone, putting you more at rest. that's what leads to more peaceful dreams.

    press the snooze button 3 times
    Oil pull then brush my teeth
    Make a green smoothie
    get ready for microbiology and/or babysitting.

    I need to step up my morning routine! I wake up at about 5:30 every day when my boyfriend leaves for work but I usually lay around in bed for almost an hour. I think I'm gonna try waking up immediately and start doing yoga again. Great video!

    I've been doing the exact same thing with my Phone for a while now :) but some mornings I still decide to put airplaine mode off immediatly, when I really feel like it. loved the video Caitlin!

    You should try out the Pacifica Dream Big mascara. I didn't like the other Pacifica ones I used before, but Dream Big is awesome. The cap actually can turn to lengthen or shorten the spoolie if you want to lengthen or thicken your lashes. It's so cool and innovative!

    This makes me want to wake up at 5:30 now! And try out that yoga site.
    Also, once the weather warms up where I live (Kansas... this time of year it's either 65 or 45 degrees LOL) I want to start jogging in the mornings. Do you think I should do yoga and then jog or vice versa? I'm not sure if there would be any negative effects on my muscles if I did one before the other. (I would jog 30 min, yoga 60min)

    Thank you for sharing and inspiring people in very healthy and kind ways :) Morning routines are so important! My routine is similar but I oil pull with coconut oil as soon as I wake up. Have you ever tried this? It is great for cleaning out any toxins in your mouth.

    Soooooo as for my morning routine...i don't have one lol. However, having watched your video i am definitely going to establish one. It makes a lot of sense and i can see how it would help me to start the day off more relaxed as well as alert and better prepared for what life has for me each day. So thanks Caitlin :-)

    I love dry brushing! It's definitely a better/natural way to get rid of cellulite verse using a bunch of chemical-filled cremes.

    What time do you go to bed and how do you maintain your energy levels? That's what I'm finding hard. I am always tired and don't feel rested.

    Before I go to bed I put my phone in another room and then turn off the wifi router because radiation and EMF =👎🏼I started doing this cause I realized it improved my sleep. By the way I got to bed and wake up at the same time every day. After a while of doing that your body gets into a routine so it'd like my own alarm clock basically. I wake up at 7, but sometimes 7:30. So when I wake up, I don't go get my phone right away. I do some stretching and yoga. Then I'll turn that wifi back on cause I live with my lil sis and family ugh hahah. I have a pretty chill routine since I do online college classes right now. I then drink a liter of water while on the balcony enjoying the view and weather. Then I'll use my phone for a lil. Then I go make breakfast! Miami is hot so I usually make a smoothie/nice cream or have fruits. Then at 9 am I start doing my classes :)

      YES! Putting your phone in airplane mode actually helps you have more vivid dreams because it's blocking the electromagnetic field...my friend Jasmine told me a few days ago! It's funny because I was going crazy thinking I was eating something that was making me hallucinate or something, but really it's just because I was putting my phone on airplane mode haha

    This is just related to something you mentioned in the beginning, but what do you think of the dissections you do studying physical therapy? I am interested in physical therapy and learning about how the body works, but I'm don't a big fan of blood and guts. I guess it's not too vegan either, I mean unless it's really necessary for learning. (the blood and guts thing is one of the reasons I'd rather be a physical therapist than a different kind of doctor.)

      Joeli P Not a PT, but a medical student. It takes some time to get used to it, but it is sooo useful for your anatomy studying. After a while, it is not that special anymore. Don't let it hold you back!

    Mine is quite similar, I get up, do like a 20 minute workout and meditate for another 10 before I then get ready to have my breakfast and go to uni :)

    I like to have the television running to make the place seem awake as well and to catch the main news stories. I always have some water first thing before I brush my teeth.I may not follow every thing you have done here, it has given a good reference point, so thank you.

    Ughh I wake up at 5:30 too but I don't have the time to do any of this stuff I just get ready , eat my breakfast and go to school 😭BTW I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH you are so cute and I enjoy watching your videos tho I actually hate these types of videos. So...Great Job!

    Is the deodorant sticky at all? I'm thinking of transitioning to natural deodorant but don't know where to start.

      I like the brands "Desert Essence" and "Kiss My Face," both are vegan + cruelty free and don't include aluminum or parabens. (Since sweating is a normal function your body needs to cool itself down, most natural deodorants will still allow you to sweat, just minus the smell!)

      No it's not sticky, but you have to let it dry for like 20ish seconds and I wouldn't apply it on wet armpits! I was actually thinking of making a video about my transition to natural deodorant....not sure if people would be interested in that or not LOL. I just bought another stick form by Schmidt's that works really well! I have tried the Tea Tree Desert Essence deodorant and it does not work for me at all....but every body is different!

      I would definitely watch one! I wear a lot of black and get a lot of residue on my clothing which I hate, but one at the drugstore that claims 'no marks' made me have a rash so I'm weary a lot of the times! I'll explore some tho.

      I am definitely interested! I sweat ALOT and started wearing deodorants and antiperspirants at an early age. Now I use more natural deodorants but find that only the lavender one from Toms actually helps. I've been trying out the bergamot and lime one from Schmidt's (the smell is AMAZING) and so far it has helped but I still sweat. I feel maybe I need to detox my armpits.... if that is even a thing!

    I know this is an older video, but I was just wondering, how long does it take to become that good at yoga? Also, how would you recommend starting yoga as a beginner?
