The things you do in the business are so entertaining, diverse and educational. Great work.
Winding that winch... set the dozer on you fishing boat and trail the cable in the water running down the river. Works really good taking twist out of line, hehe Kevin try that . Haha.
Lol
Like how Kevin walks his hands down the cable. Great video.
If someone don’t walk the cable that’ll be a lesson learned very quickly.
He certainly is special K. Doesn't get any better. Thanks for the heads up on the nose cleaner sound check.

Yep
Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler of the Kitty Cat world!!!
Thanks Clint. I wondered how I could tell if they came with a winch. Good info.
I believe it's time for a service on that tractor the filters has 10-30-17 lol awesome videos got my stickers today love them can't wait for you to put those button up shop shirts on there too (I need to pre-order mine lol)
My Uncle used to say, "Boy you're gonna mess up a wet dream", 🤣 Looks like Kevin did it this time. 🤣 🤣
However that I'm getting the hell outta the way Stance is a good 💡.
That's alot of tension on the cable. I have had one snap while tugging on an Oil Derik. Not fun.

Hello Clinton, I know you and Kevin can get up to some fun stuff but CABLE TV now? 😁
Lol
Thanks for sharing this. Always a pleasure to watch you guys.
Thanks for watching
That was a hell of a pro tip nicely said 😎🇺🇸👍NY
You guys are great.
Thanks
It would be a nice finish on the cable to have a braided loop,I learned to do those as a kid 😂
Nice catch you guys! You hooked a forklift fish! Better use a lot of tenderize on it, they're tough! 😆 🤣 😂
I hated putting new cable on winches win I was a logger awesome job guys
Watched a video of a crew shortening the drag cables on a really big dragline. The reason for taking 6 feet off the house end of the cable was to change the place where the cable jumped to the next layer. They had to run out maybe 300 feet of I think 3 inch wire rope. Fun to watch, glad it wasn't me.
Always took some pride in taking care of my bull line. Spooled good, not crossed or hard on it trying to make it last as long as possible.
And hated when you needed to pull it out and it had a knot or was crossed and couldn't get it out. And you had to waste time getting it to break free and pull it out to choke logs.
PHENOMENAL HELP
Soooo..,
if I were order up one of those winches, would it come with “Kevin”… That might just be worth “the price of admission”., so to speak…, and I don’t even own one of those dozers…, hahaha..,
Great video,
Thank you gentlemen.
Lol
Keep up the good work looks like Kevin did good today so I guess he is getting paid this week .
🤔🤷♀️
@@mrsclinton I guess he is not getting paid then .😥😥😥 None of this for Kevin 💲💲💲

Clint and guys, great Video thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Great job. I learn a lot from your videos.
these pro tips !!!!!! if your sons were doing this would it have been done right first time ha ha ha
Probably so lol
John Deere should have a spline universal joint on the winch side and a driveshaft with female ends on both ends of the driveshaft!
Awesome video
Great video as always and always learn something each time keep up the good work
Thanks
Thanks for sharing your time with us.
Thanks for watching
Howdy C&C enjoy your videos
Thanks
Love or videos watch them all night long
Good job, great information.
Thanks
Hey Clint - just found your channel and am enjoying the content; catching up on all prior. Also really like your commentary - but sincerely, please eliminate altogether the word “ACTUALLY” from your vocabulary. Keep up the great videos. Thanks.
Actually I will think about it
@ 3:13 YAY Kevin, a big burp and fart would be even cooler.
Thanks for the heart.
I'm watching letsdig18's current video and he says he needs bucket teeth for his 220 Volvo, I was not solicited by him to do this , I'm a fellow TH-camr although I don't upload, I like him as a friend as I do you, and I've heard positive rumors gossip advise that you can sometimes find stuff when others can't, yeah they're in short supply. He said he's called several people, now I know this vid is passed tense but if he hasn't contacted you then I am.
Ok thanks for the info
Teeth are hard to find right now believe it or not
@@C_CEQUIPMENT A bunch of stuff is hard to come buy, my boss makes windows and GLASS is hard to come by, what are we running out of sand, I understand it's old news (the teeth) but I just wanted to be helpful thanks so much for your trouble.
Does Kevin act like that when he is just on camera or was he just not nursed right when he was born??? And he was doing so good for awhile. All though he is a top-notch painter. :)
He’s always a comic
Fun to be around
100% Kevin 24/7 😂😂
Really good informative video. So jealous
Thanks
I need the power out function on my 450c when I suck my chokers in through the rollers 🤦♂️
👍
No Kevin you can't even handle open face. You're a Zebco man. Lol God bless
Lol
thanks for sharing. keep up the good work
Thanks for watching
Send Kevin fishing!
All went really well until. Safe travels
Lov Kevin ....;-)! Good job Lads!! Cheers! ;-)!
So now you have to work in mm just like I had to work in inches for to many years.😄
Great job guys always very interesting thanks for sharing 🦘👍
Thanks for watching
I need a used wedge that goes through the drum so I don’t have a dent in the line when i spool it , if I can spool the line on as you did with the mm bolt, if the threads are not stripped , I’ve never seen the bare drum on my machine when I purchased it the spool was full of cable any help is appreciated
Yea you can buy the wedge from Deere or you could probably take a piece of hardwood and make a wedge just to fill the void
What RPM does the winch need to be at for max pulling? Not the Dozer RPMs but the driveshaft to the winch RPMs. Wondering one of these winchs would work on a John Deere ag tractor PTO shaft at 1000 RPM or if that would be to little RPM?
They are a direct drive from the engine so they turn the same speed as the engine rpm
You will have max pulling power at 1000 rpm or any rpm you run it, it’s just the speed of the drum that will change with your rpm
Good video, could you make some on excavators please
Will do in the future
Just a general question do you use a cable lubricant?
We do not
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
You watch to muts video's from TITANS of CNC MACHINING 👍😎 BOOM
Same winches go on some timberjack Skidder’s it has a long snot on the front , how much to reseal and put clutches in the brake and the pulling clutches also how does the free spool work
Yes they are the same basic winches but the front drive is different and the gearing is different
I keep all the seals in stock have to pull apart to see what all it needs
@@C_CEQUIPMENT the gearing is to fast on the Skidder’s I wish they where a little slower, if I ever have any trouble I’ll get in touch , I’m just about 2 hours south of Louisville so no problem to load it up and bring it to you
What’s the difference in The models with different letters?
Just some updates
H models and j models are close to the same
K and newer models have emissions
Kevin isn't a winch! Lol 😆 😆 😆 😆
Why no tensioner on that winch
Nope
That will be the only time that winch cable will be wound on that drum like that. lol
Very true
How do we know Kevin tapped those holes? - lol
clint you need to work on your verbs
English is not my strong suit
@@C_CEQUIPMENT agreed ⬆️ 😂
Which dozer is biggest, Cat D5 or 850J?
850j
D5 is 650 size
Thanks❤
As professionals, when you tell someone how to do it you're supposed to charge them a zillion dollars! 😀😃🙂🙃😊
I hope that’s a 40,000 pound winch and not a 4000 pound winch.
Yep Deere designation is 4000 series which stands for 40,000lbs
How much for the plate and hitch off this machine?
I can sell the plate but I need the hitch
or have an "ACTUALLY" counter in the corner of the video 🤣
Hahahaha you guys!
👍
