I was “@ AGT ChampionsI saw this in person about two rows behind her mother and sister I spoke to her is it going to the lobby she was real reserve after how much we appreciated her music!
Queen loved this cover so much they put it on their social media and gave Angelina the copyright to the song so she could officially release her version.
Her outfit is a collaboration with her grandmother (manager). You see her grandmother (first to stand applause), her mother (blonde) and little sister in the front row at least 3 times. Her musicality makes her the MOZART OF THE VOICE.
So what is most amazing to me is beyond my analysis of her performance but the fact that every voice coach or authority all react by putting their hand in front of their face and the goose bumps! You are 100% correct! She is amazing! At 13!!!

AJ is currently signed with Republic Records. 3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music. 4. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Hopefully this will remain as she continues her career with Republic. 5. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot and I hope by now that you have discovered the incredible reason why she does that. 6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old! 7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come. 8. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.

Gitana, I can't even tell you what a special moment this performance was for fans of Angelina. Knowing of her dream to sing for Simon since she was 3.... watching all the work she had put in for all those years... To see her come out there on that night and deliver that incredible masterpiece. It was really something to witness. And when you watch it back, take note of her family. Her Mother, Sister, Uncle and Grandmother... they have been there all along. All the practices, all the rehearsals, all the charity events and concerts... they are always there... always supporting her. So to see their reaction when Hedi hit that golden buzzer was just priceless. I have many 'favorite' performances from Angelina, but this one was by far the most special for me.

When auditioners literally sign-up for AGT, they are also bound to a contract with Syco Productions(founded by Simon Cowell) if they win. Angelina's family (Uncle Michael Astar her agent and manager)would not agree to that. So AGT knew how great she was already from the many covers on TH-cam, and they wanted her to perform, so she performed without the Syco contract. So it is fairly easy to understand that if they could not entice her than why let her win? They choose another and she did not win. No matter. She has made herself known here in the US in a big way!
