Absolutely Beautiful!! I have been trying for the past 3 years to make something for my daughter. Needless to say....she still hasn't gotten them 😁 This I can do and it's unique.
@@RK3Designs Thanks for all your amazing videos! This detailed instruction on how to do the vinyl sticker was just what I needed..and your table is beautiful ❤️
Surface tension is where the epoxy doesn’t want to flow and doesn’t cover a small area. Tapping with your finger will break the tension and then epoxy will flow and level out. 😊
Gloss for the win!! 🥰 Really lovely fall piece!! 🍁🍂 I wondered early in the video if you had done another one before hand. I noticed the orange circle on the drop cloth! 🧡 Glad you kept the cloth and used it for both pieces!! 👏 I don't think I'm patient enough to do the letters! Just watching Leslie do that amazing job with great tips and tricks made me antsy!! 😂🤣
I know you said you used 5oz/sf on this, so I assume that's total and you divided the 5oz between the colors, but those cups look like a lot more than 1oz each... ?? This is the only thing I think would be always helpful for us no matter whose video we watch..ATD, you, SCC, etc. Great teaching on your videos, btw.. you are my go-to gal!!!
Thank you, really beautiful! May l ask, l have a piece of art with various layers of resin but my top layer has a layer that looks like oil. I have not used silicon. Any ideas as to why that appeared? What can l do about it? Sand it?
Sorry, one more question.. it's an 18" round, but what size was the decal? I'm going to have someone with a cricket machine make my decals and I didn't know what sizes to tell her for these 18" rounds..Thanks a bunch
Yes I did. I have a huge ventilation system in our shop and my door and windows were open. I use a mask when I’m working on projects but not when I’m on camera.
The sticker is cool, but I think a next level upgrade would be to use a CNC to route out text/designs/whatever, then fill that with epoxy. 🤔🤯 Love the advice on how to get rid of the ripples. The technique to get rid of side ripples has definitely been an evolving art since Stonecoat’s beginnings years ago.
I personally love the piece without any wording….it looked classier but that’s only my opinion. I personally prefer items without vinyl wording, but that’s just me. The original design was perfect as it was. I am going to do this process (minus wording).

Why isn't she famous yet, this is freaking good.

Thank you!! 😊😊😊
I love this piece!! Beautiful colors❤️
Thank you!! 😊😊. Some of my favorites!
Fall are my colors. I myself would go with the matte for some reason I like the browns in matte.
I love the matte also with earth tones. Looks so natural! 😊
I think gloss would be my choice. I’ve been wanting to learn about doing resin - Thank you!
That’s what we did!! 😊😊. Thanks for watching!
WoW so good.
I love it. I think the gloss will rock. I’m curious about the hardware to make it a Lazy Susan?
We ended up doing the gloss. Here’s a link to the hardware we use. amzn.to/3lUQTlk
I love all your videos, and fall colors are so beautiful. It's always been my favorite season, and this piece feels like celebration!!
I’m with you! Love this time of year!!
❤️❤️ can't wait to watch
gloss finish
COOOOL 🤩
Thanks! 😊
UTC gloss on this one! :)
That’s what we ended up doing!! 😊😊.
Your pieces are gorgeous! What do you mean by surface tension?
Surface tension is where the epoxy doesn’t want to flow and doesn’t cover a small area. Tapping with your finger will break the tension and then epoxy will flow and level out. 😊
Why the window cleaner, when putting on vinyl?
Helps you to be able to move and reposition if needed. Also helps to avoid air bubbles.

You are very observant!!! I would have never noticed the orange 🤣🤣. And that’s why Leslie does the vinyl 🤪
@@RK3Designs LOL!! 😂 It works to have a team!! 🤗😍🥰
Gloss!.
Definitely Gloss
Nice
Thank you!!

The sq footage on this piece was 1.7 multiply that by 5 is 8.8. Rounded up to 9 total oz. of epoxy.
You can do flat coat first. If you don't like it you can just put a gloss on.
Yes you can do that. 👍🏼
Thank you, really beautiful! May l ask, l have a piece of art with various layers of resin but my top layer has a layer that looks like oil. I have not used silicon. Any ideas as to why that appeared? What can l do about it? Sand it?
Did you use a torch? Sometimes the torch when the tip isn’t working properly, will leave a oily film.
@@RK3Designs Thank you for taking the trouble to reply. I did use my hot gun, no blow torch.
What did you use for to make it into a lazy Susan..(the bottom part that spins) and where do I get it. Ty 🧡
IKEA sell the whole thing. Includes the base.
I never knew about the glass cleaner when placing a design.
Works GREAT!! 😊
What made you decide to put UTC on this lazy Susan?? I haven't seen utc put on things other than countertops?
Just to make it more durable. I put it on everything 🤣🤣
I'm a pisces, so i like shiny so gloss
❤️❤️❤️
Amazing! Do you not wear a respirator and goggles?
The epoxy I use, Stonecoat Countertop Epoxy, is VERY safe with no VOC’s. Made with 100% solids and no solvents. 😊
Where is best place to buy lazy Susan please.
I get them online from IKEA

I believe I made the. 10 inches. 😊
Even though this is a donation, what price range would you sell this item for?
DID YOU JUST SPRAY PAINT INSIDE WITHOUT A MASK?
Yes I did. I have a huge ventilation system in our shop and my door and windows were open. I use a mask when I’m working on projects but not when I’m on camera.
The sticker is cool, but I think a next level upgrade would be to use a CNC to route out text/designs/whatever, then fill that with epoxy. 🤔🤯

We are actually going to have some boards rostered for that exact use. I keep telling Kenny we need a CNC 😊😊. Thank for watching!!

Thank you for the feed back and thanks for watching!!
Can I let my grandson help me using art coat he is autistic and for his age he is the best artist I've ever seen and he is 10
I’m sure he would love to create!! The Art Coat is very safe, I wouldn’t hesitate letting kids help. 😊
Candy Corn
Looks like it for sure!
