The Burning Bush, what a great old restaurant. Wonderful views out the big glass windows on the back, backed right to the woods of the Park. Always see wildlife, even deer and some say even saw bear in the old days
I ate there twice years ago! Such a beautiful place!
Great video, Will and Dawn: My favorite gift store in Gatlinburg is one that is free to look around in, where you don't have to buy anything.😅🤣😂I'm a huge fan of free parking, because I can save money that way.

Food looks great! Everything is just so expensive any more. That was a basic lunch with water & at least $43 with tip! Wow
Eating in G'Burg, even pub food, has gotten a little out of hand in my and my wife's opinion. Very rarely will we eat downtown any more. I agree with another viewer, $18.00+ for Will's burger and fries is too pricey for this hillbilly. Sorry to be so critical Will & Dawn but I have to be honest. Great seeing you two out and about in the Smoky Mountain area. Keep 'em coming!
Gatlinburg is a tourist destination
@@yankeeinthesouth Yup, we know that been going there since 71. Just think that in last 5 years things have really "shot up". We still love coming down, we just have to watch our $$ more than we did.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Jonathan’s. It has that mountain vibe. I’ve gotten calendars, hiking maps, gift items, books, and clothes. Lots to choose from. Quality stuff at that store. ~Nancy

I think you're videos on Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and Seville area are my Favorites and like to see and know what is new there. I was there once and now unfortunately - I'm disabled and don't get around and it's Great to see you're videos and wonderful way and things that you both do. Please keep up the Great Work and I can Enjoy them.

That looks like a nice little town. Lots of shopping. I love it! I am curious as to how much gas is down there. I live in western NY and in my town, it is 3.69 a gallon. Have safe travels with all the crowds. Thank you to all the veterans who gave all.

My favorites when in Gatlinburg are staying at Jack Huffs, breakfast at the Log Cabin Pancake restaurant and at some point a corn dog from Fannie Farkles. Enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing!
The Pancake House has the best breakfast I have ever had. We haven't had rain in 2-3 weeks here in Ohio.

Used to come 2xs a year. 2020 had fam situation & of course covid. Haven't been back but 1 short visit since. We sure miss the mountains & shopping. We hope to comeback in Sept.
I’ve always thought of Gatlinburg as Myrtle Beach in the Smokies with all the hustle and bustle!
Yup, the actual mountains are great, but otherwise it’s an overcrowded and overpriced tourist trap. We absolutely love the GSMNP though!

I completely understand why y’all are stayed away from Gatlinburg this past weekend! We drove from Knoxville to Cumberland Gap to do some hiking yesterday and we had a blast! Low crowds and since we always pack our own lunch and snacks, the only cost was the gas to drive to and from! Love these state parks!

I'm watching this on Monday from Indy. Traffic is MUCH better from Sunday and the race traffic, which is awful. Most residents stay home.

Will I was just in PF 3 weeks ago today and on Wednesday I went to Gatlinburg, parked in a cover garage and walked all the way down one side and back up the other side, DID some sight seeing and a little shopping. I remember the sights you were showing and the best part of it all, a mild day and no crowds... Wonderful that I caught it on a day where you weren't elbow to elbow with people..

Favorite gift shop in Gatlinburg is American Traditions, it’s right next door to the convention center. Ohhh, PS … best doughnuts around are Donut 🍩 Friar 😊
Wish I was there in Gatlinburg also. So pretty. It’s been way too many years.
The chocolate moonshine is a fudge shop. They sell their fudge on QVC shopping network and it is literally the best fudge ever. I gifted many to friends and family this past Christmas as well as myself. We all think it’s the absolute best we’ve ever tasted. Hope you’ll get some.
Simple menu but very expensive. Wow. High prices! Guess that’s the norm.

I remember eating at a place on the parkway, 25 years or so ago, not sure of the name. It was a microbrewery, you could sample all their brews and they had the best Mac and cheese I’ve eaten.

We tried to go to Dollywood yesterday but just turned around when we saw the size of the line just waiting to get on the tram from the parking lot. Never seen that many people there so early
I work trams at Dollywood. Yes it was very busy yesterday!!

Great video guys! Dollywood is very busy now. We are staying away from the crowds best we can.
There is a parking lot on River Road close to the mountain mall that is only two dollars per hour we’ve been parking there for a long time!

I feel like nearly every restaurant in the PF/Gatlinburg area is the same. Overpriced burgers and fried foods that are just okay.
Have you ever considered visiting the different Farmers Markets offered in the East TN area? There are many. The Market Square Farmers Market in Knoxville is usually fantastic. They have them Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. It would be cool to see y’all make a home cooked meal using the fresh produce and lean proteins you can get locally! Could be a fun new (and healthy) vlog idea! Just a thought! 😊

Thank you for mentioning about that restaurant the burning bush, years ago we ate there and I could never remember the name of it!
They used to bring you about fresh fruit, muffins, juice, etc on the house when you are breakfast there and it had such beautiful scenery outside the windows.
