It's so refreshing to see a Yankee's perspective of my beautiful home state. We spent year after year, all through my childhood into adulthood, coming to PF and Gatlinburg and I NEVER get tired of it! I love this place. Walking through Gatlinburg is so nostalgic, no matter how often I go. I really enjoy how Will, (I think is his name??), takes the time to describe his meals and his surroundings - I just love it. Dolly Wood never gets old! I remember when it was Silver Dollar City! (Telling my age there lol!) Good job guys. Thank you.

We ate at Apple Barn in 1987 and at least 20 more times. Always has been good. We took our granddaughter there when she was 2 and she kept throwing the fritters. She thought they were balls. She is now 25. Thanks Will and Dawn.

We ALWAYS visit the Apple Barn. Usually multiple times. You need to try the apple cider slushie if you haven’t already. It’s in the area where you showed the apple pies at 13:15. We will be up the in a couple weeks! I can’t hardly wait! 🥰😁

It was nice to have you in my neighborhood recently in Port Orange! loved my visit to the Apple Barn when I went in the spring! We used to dine there as a family but I'm a solo visitor now and just shopped and snacked. In their gift shop, I added to my blue rooster kitchen collection I started from that area back in the 90s. Also discovered Seneca Apple chips and find they sell them in our Publix in Florida. Then i took a drive behind Apple Barn afterwards and discovered a very beautiful neighborhood with mountain scenery. I was amazed at the view you showed us up that mountain 😍

We are at Music Road Inn Resort. We just arrived.
I ate there not long ago had the pot roast it would had been good if the didn’t put so much salt in it ..I think someone put the whole box of salt in it 🤣

We love the Applewood Farmhouse. It is always a must stop place for our visit to the Smokies. I could almost smell the fritters and apple butter. I have never found an apple butter as good as the Apple Barn's. We love coming in colder weather and getting a cup of warm apple cider and a fried apple pie. Thanks for taking us along on you adventure.

Love Apple 🍎 barn and the Restaurant. The Apple hand pies we bought were delicious, stuffed with apples. I wouldn't live in certain places like Walker, skinny road! 😊

hay Will and Dawn , I was so bummed that when we were down there we didnt get to go there i miss it already. I was looking forward in trying out the julip and fritters. The farmhouse in the back is a must eat at. A good portion for the money. Good country cooking. The vegetable soup is so good. And the onsite ice cream shop is also great.

The lady at the little apple cafe where they sale the fresh fried apple pies told us that the Frozen apple cider in the gallon jug is the only one that is actually made right there! So we always get it.

We actually stayed in one of the cabins that made it through the fire. We stayed there in May the year of the fires. We were just up there again last week checking out all the new cabins being built.

We come to Smoky mountain area once a year our favorites The Apple Barn and the old Mill and Crockett's breakfast
The Applewood Farm House was a lot better when it actually had an apple orchard surrounding it.
You mentioned the Red Roof Mall, the last time my husband and I were there, and it’s been quite awhile, it was mostly an abandoned mall. Is it still empty, or has it been renovated?
I love the Apple Barn! Been going there yearly since 1994! Love the taffy from the candy store and the huge banana splits from the ice cream shop! And of course, the apple butter is delicious too!

Apple juice, pineapple juice, orange juice and lemon juice...I have a gallon in my fridge right now...make 2 gallons a week...so good!!💚😊💜
I’m a creature of habit too and always order the same thing 😂 I normally get a bowl of their vegetable soup and grilled cheese! It’s always good!!
I would order the turkey dinner 🍽 😋 and take the fried 🍎 pies home .

I love chicken and dumplings. I learned that southern dumplings are different than northern dumplings. We were in Kentucky and ordered it and my sister smirked. I asked what was the matter and she said nothing. When the meal came, I asked where are the dumplings?! My sister laughed and said she knew but wanted to see my face. She lives in Alabama and said the same thing when she had dumplings in the south for the first time. That meal looks delicious. Have fun!
